GoogleRobsons Chorleywood turned the sale of our home into a nightmare. Our agent, Nick Walker, had become embroiled in a bitter disagreement with his boss, Daniel Young. You can read more about their falling-out by Googling "Robsons Chorleywood unfair dismissal". Mr Walker disappeared overnight and Mr Young took charge of the sale. The asking price for our house went into freefall. My wife and I felt that we couldn't get straight answers out of Mr Young regarding what was going on. We knew something was seriously wrong, but Mr Young chose to withhold the truth from us (again - Google "Robsons Chorleywood unfair dismissal"). We did not feel comfortable with the manner in which Mr Young was conducting himself, and told him that we intended to change agents. This let to him becoming angry, using bullying and manipulative language, and accusing us of being "immoral" for wanting to take our business elsewhere. We tried to complain but we were told that as he was the boss, there was no one within Robsons we could turn to. We suspected this to be a breach of The Property Ombudsman's Code of Practice so we lodged a formal complaint with their office. The Property Ombudsman found against Robsons Chorleywood. They concluded that Mr Young had breached not one but five separate sections of their Code of Practice, and compelled Robsons Chorleywood to pay us a financial penalty in recognition of their failings and the distress caused.

GoogleThere is a good reason I have been using Robsons to buy and sell properties for 30 years, they get it done. Having offices in both Chorleywood and Rickmansworth was beneficial. GoogleI recently had the pleasure of dealing with Robsons in purchasing two flats and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the first meeting with Neil through to various stages in the process, Neil, Cara and Dean dealt with the sale in a Professional manner. They were more than happy to arrange many viewings any time, super helpful, dealt with any queries and communication was excellent. Highly recommend them for a seller or a buyer.
