We changed from another local estate agent to Reeds Rains after experiencing a lack of communication and a number late arrivals for viewings. In fact, we had more than one instance with the previous estate agent where the viewing party had arrived 5 - 10 minutes ahead of that estate agent and were left ringing 'Ring Doorbells'. The change was immediately apparent. Roy and Andy were attentive to our needs always arrived on time for viewings. They were knowledgable about the house, the smart systems installed and conveyed the correct information to the potential purchasers. It is clear that Roy and Andy are passionate about their job and we could not recommend them highly enough. The worse thing is when the person undertaking the viewings doesn't know what they are selling or the upgrades, systems etc. that have been installed - if they are not passionate, this comes across in the viewings. This is certainly not the case with Roy and Andy, they knew the house and systems and this was portreyed accurately and with detail to potential purchasers. Roy and Andy have a positive attitude and this was apparent when the viewings were undertaken and this makes the world of difference. Communication was excellent throughout and we would without hesitation recommend them. Roy and Andy certainly went the extra mile and it was a very positive experience. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

Would highly recommend. Lesley, Roy, Ruth and team have just supported me through a really complex house sale. They have gone over and above to provide advice, support, and have kept me up to date throughout. In comparison to other local agents, I feel that this agent/branch really know the local area, and housing market, and were able to give informed advice, which made me feel that I could really trust their opinions. Also, after my house being on the market for some time with another local agent, with limited genuine viewings, after I transferred to Reeds Rains, we were inundated with viewings (which were primarily facilitated by the agents) and we had an offer pretty quickly. We had had our property up for quite a while with a different popular local branch but wasn’t getting feedback unless we chased and felt quite despondent. We switched to Reeds Rain and knew straight away we had made the right choice. Customer service is their strength and we were kept informed every step we took. Andy reassured us our house would sell quickly and the girls in the office found viewers and kept us uptodate. Amazing service by everybody at Reeds Rains. Andy the valuer was knowledgeable, friendly and did not put any pressure on me to make a decision. After taking the plunge Toni and Lesley booked 10+ viewings and had my house sold within the week. I found myself in a long and frustrating chain however the manager Roy went above and beyond to push the sale through and get my family moved in before Christmas. Very good team at Chorley branch, they know the market well and advise accordingly, never felt any pressure. Roy is fantastic guy who goes extra mile when required. We sold through them and he helped with getting gardening done & did bit of cleaning himself and provided with meter readings when required. Reason for 4stars is their recommend solicitors were double the price of my solicitor and increased the price after we agreed to their initial quote following which it went up by another c£800(also wasted bit of our time) , my solicitor did it for half the charge. Also although we didn't appointment their recommended solicitors there was massive data protection breach wherein they sent us info of some other transactions and although we advised them to delete our all data they still emailed again with details of other transactionsafter in few weeks, also we wanted to transact through exclusivity agreement which initially was fine but after we appointed the team this didn't work out.
