We have recently completed on our house sale and would like to express our sincere thanks to Ben Rose Estate Agents in Chorley. Tammy and her team, and I think I must have spoken to almost all of them, supported us through what became a problematic and at times stressful process after our first buyer unexpectedly ghosted us. The Sales Team never gave up and continued working hard to find new potential buyers, and thanks to their dedication we soon had another sale secured. Throughout the process we received regular updates, and when Waseema from the Sales Progression Team reviewed the progress of the sale, it made a real difference in helping to move everything forward. A huge thank you to all the team at Ben Rose for their hard work, professionalism and commitment.

Great experience with all the team at Ben Rose! The sales team Katie and Leanne were always happy to help and chase solicitors when we bought our house even when the process was a bit longer than we hoped! The lettings team have also been amazing, the process of finding a tenant was quick and easy. I've mostly dealt with Joanne and Sophie who have both been very friendly and knowledgeable about the process. It has been a pleasure working with Ben Rose and I couldn't have asked for a better experience on either side! 10/10 recommend and they are always easy to get in touch with very responsive!

Ben rose i have never used. Abbie was the most kind and helpful ever. I got the paperwork to complete and sent it that night. She messaged me acknowledging that she said thank you to me and my mum, it's been delightful meeting us. Abbie should get recognised as i used to work in sales and no pressure. I’ve had a really disappointing experience with Ben Rose in Chorley. I received a call today about a viewing, and after I apologised for forgetting and explained politely, the person on the phone responded in a very abrupt, dismissive way and ended the call quickly. It felt rude and unprofessional. This wasn’t the first issue either. At a previous viewing, we arrived just 4 minutes late due to traffic, and instead of a friendly welcome, the estate agent immediately said “I have another viewing very soon,” which made us feel rushed and uncomfortable for the rest of the viewing. There was no effort to make the experience pleasant. Overall, the customer service has been poor on more than one occasion, and it’s left a bad impression. Ben Rose, please sort out your colleagues attitudes. UPDATE: Hi, thanks for the response. I can see you’re very keen to defend your colleagues, but the call and viewing still came across abrupt and dismissive on my end, regardless of how you’ve chosen to interpret it. I did explain my situation at the time, so the reminders about lateness and cancellations just feel a bit unnecessary. My feedback was just to highlight how the tone came across, hopefully that’s actually taken on board.

I sold my rental property through Ben Rose, which I initiated in April. They moved super fast to get in and take pictures and then advertised the house on social media. In the first 24 hours there were 6 requests for viewings and 1 offer! Needless to say we negotiated and I then accepted the offer so literally the house was sold in 24 hours! It all went incredibly smoothly and I would definitely use Ben Rose again.

Unfortunately, my experience with Benrose Selling Agency has been deeply disappointing. They failed to sell our property in over six weeks, during which communication was practically nonexistent. Emails went unanswered, and calls were not returned, leaving us completely in the dark about the status of our listing. To make matters worse, when we finally discovered we had offers and were ready to accept, the buyers had already pulled out, presumably due to delays or mismanagement on the agency's part. When we decided to part ways with them, they insisted on a 28-day notice period or required us to pay a fee. This felt unreasonable, especially considering their inability to secure a sale in six weeks, what difference would four more weeks make? If they manage to sell the property, I would consider updating this feedback. However, until then, I stand by my review. Proof of improvement would be far more meaningful than a response filled with excuses.

Benrose is the worst-selling agency in Chorley.
We deeply regret using them due to their awful service. Despite over five weeks of effort, they failed to sell our property. To make matters worse, we had to pay a fee to leave them and switch to a professional agent, who sold our home within a week. Benrose shows no regard for customer service, and their communication is non-existent. We’re disappointed we didn’t read the negative reviews beforehand, had we done so, we would have avoided wasting our time and money with them. Unfortunately, we paid the price for their lack of professionalism, but we hope future clients will be more cautious.
