I recently used the services of Strakers Estate Agents Corsham to sell a property and have been very, very happy with their service. My property sale was complicated in that it was 16th century, Grade 2 listed with a tenant in place and I did not live in the area. I also had a certain time frame that I wished to stick to due to end of tenancy etc. Rosemary handled the valuation and subsequent viewings exceptionally well and the discussion and selection of “sealed bids” over the asking price as there were several potential buyers. She did all of this whilst carefully liaising with the tenant causing minimal disruption to him and retaining his good will. Eleanor handled the subsequent exchange progress very well chasing diligently and diplomatically, helped by her legal background. I have been entirely happy with the Corsham Office and having dealt with another estate agent in the town I would definitely choose Strakers again if selling a property.

Strakers are brilliant. They have helped us to sell two house belonging to relatives in the last 12 months. All of the staff are kind, courteous and very patient. They listened and did things in the way we requested. They helped us when we encountered a complicated problem . They kept us well informed with progress and were always available by phone or email to answer queries. They offer excellent service.

From minute one where Chris visited our home and provided advice and a valuation right up until completion, dealing with Strakers has been a pleasure. Communication was always good, particularly during our second sale attempt where manager Marianne Owens became directly involved, we cannot praise Marianne enough for her knowledge and expertise, her influence helped us enormously and we will always be grateful for her personal touch, her efforts went beyond in our opinion. We were very pleased initially with your Sue George in spending time with us and for sharing her knowledge of the site with us.However, having sold our property on December 8th 2021 we have been informed almost month by month of additional delays to our build completion date. This now stands at May 27th 2022! We will have been renting for almost 6 months by then and having to pay for storage for 6 months.We are aware of supply and labour problems but it transpires that our purchase, plot 15 Maton Close,was to be the last to be completed which would have been useful to know.I can appreciate that this is out of your control and Ashford Homes have been good on communication and arranging for all ' extras'.We remain very frustratedAndrew and Sally Elliott

Strakers did a superb job of selling my late mothers house. They had an excellent understanding of the market and the valuation was spot on - we had a sale agreed within a few weeks of going to market. Their communication was good. The staff were always polite and friendly and we were kept informed of all developments and given regular updates. The whole transaction was handled very professionally. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

Being the first time I’ve sold a house, strakers we’re very helpful, quick to get it on the market and sold before it reached online. Also purchased our new house with them, viewings we’re organised quickly, right through to making an offer. Would have liked a few more updates throughout. Found it hard chasing solicitor and estate agents to get info, between making the offer and getting a move in date (6 months). Felt like a very long process, the solicitor firm recommended by strakers, were hard to work with also hard to get motivated, to finalise all paperwork.
