TrustpilotStrutt & Parker, Gerrards Cross
Selling your house can be an emotional experience. You need an estate agent that not only knows the local (and national) market trends but can give you great advice. From valuation to the best marketing strategy; from understanding changing market circumstances to interpreting feedback from viewings; and remaining by your side - through the marketing phase to the all important offer; and thereafter during the legalities culminating in exchange and completion.Strutt and Parker, Gerrards Cross achieved all of these for me and I would not hesitate in recommending them if you are thinking of selling your property. TrustpilotA sterling effort in difficult conditions
We put our wonderful old house on the market in September 2018, just in time for the worst of the Brexit impasse, followed in early 2020 by Covid-19. In these inauspicious market conditions Strutt and Parker worked extra-hard to publicise the house, with features in the Telegraph, The Sunday Times and elsewhere, as well as getting us a free repeat advert in Country Life. The brochure was excellent as was the Matterport 3-D digital survey. Throughout the 2 years it took to sell, they kept us well informed of the market, and the views of potential buyers. We were pleased by the service they provided.

TrustpilotSale of Grade II listed property
From initial enquiry (agents for selling my property) to completion I found Strutt and Parker extremely professional and attentive. Due to the unique nature of the property which included a mix of residential and business elements, the sale process was more involved than anticipated, however at every step, Strutt and Parker facilitated negotiations between relevant parties, ultimately arriving at a sale. Their experience in complex and unusual situations was very evident and key in securing completion. Highly recommended - Kent Agency

Sarah and Fiona went above and beyond to secure our sale. We can't thank them enough for all the hard work involved in negotiating on our behalf. They make an amazing team.

TrustpilotExcellemt sale of small barn and orchard
Strutt and Parker provided a first class service despite the value of the sale being relatively small. Ian Daniels was always attentive and patient. He negotiated an excellent deal from our perspective

In 1992 Strutt and Parker sold me a lovely house in Kent with a small estate, presented with complete honesty as to its drawbacks but clearly showing its immediate attractions, and its serious potential. For the next thirty years, they offered guidance and support as I kept track of the market in deciding when to sell. That led to a very satisfactory sale of the property in 2014 and successful outlying sales in 2020. What I valued above all was the knowledge of the market as it applied to our part of Kent, the clear communication of the situation and the consideration and discretion that accompanied it.

I highly recommend Strutt and Parker Lettings. I have been using them (Formerly Roberts Newby) in Gerrards Cross for seven years to rent property to me and my family. We are tenants in our third property from them at the moment! They have been an outstanding letting agent and managing agent throughout. The agents seem to always be available to help with any issues, they get repairs done quickly and without drama, and they seem to liaise extremely well with the landlord/owners. I am a demanding customer so it says a lot for me to give such high ratings. They truly get things done, and have kept us very happy!

TrustpilotExcellent letting service
I just rented a new apartment through Strutt & Parker in Gerrards Cross. From the moment I contacted Katie and Charlotte in lettings, I’ve had nothing but a professional and efficient service. I had an issue with referencing as I’ve not been in the UK for a long period and hence, my credit history was limited. Charlotte and Katie did everything possible to convince the Landlord that I was a reliable and trustworthy tenant. Thanks to their hard work, the Landlord accepted my application. I also had a few issues within the apartment and these were dealt with immediately and resolved. I have no reservation recommending Strutt & Parker, Gerrards Cross if you’re looking for a rental property or if you’re considering selling/purchasing a home

Strutt and Parker recently sold our property in Norfolk. We were persuaded to reduce the asking price by 7%, which we were disappointed at. Our agent was very helpful until lockdown in February, after which we never saw him again, but only held telephone conversations, until our sale in August. He did not hand over the keys at completion as he was on a day off. we handed over to the purchasers ourselves. Since then we have had no contact, apart from unnecessary advertising by the company. Since the fees were around £15,000, we were disappointed.

TrustpilotFor premium property avoid Strutt & Parker
If you’re renting a premium property, avoid Strutt & Parker. After 15 years of renting through three different agencies, this was by far the worst experience.

TrustpilotRubbish and unprofessional!
My rental property is managed by the most unprofessional property manager called Shannon Flanagan. She is the laziest, unethical and unprofessional person I've seen working either in property or recruitment. I'm sorry for you if you'll deal with her or Jay O'Dell from Cadogan Street London. The people working at Strutt & Parker make recruiters look amazing. They are rubbish at fixing issues with the property and excellent at ignoring emails about the issues. In my case they claim that the heating system (underfloor heating) is working when contractors sent to verify the system needs significant work to be fixed. I ended up buying a heater and using that to heat the property for 2 winters. In 2019 I told Strutt & Parker that I'm not going to pay for the rubbish SSE heating system since it's not working a bill for £1.5/day just for the standing charges via 2 emails. They didn't decline my request nor commented on this. I sent them all the SSE bills and told me that they are paying them month after month. After a year they are claiming that we never had an agreement and that I have to pay the standing charges even the consumption is £0 after they failed to fix the system. Did I mention that I asked for a heater and I never got one delivered in the middle of January? All these for only £500/week for a 1 bedroom apartment. Got to love estate agents in London!

TrustpilotWorst company to rent an apartment from. Pure theft.
This is the worst company I have ever rented from (and I have rented from many). They are unprofessional, do not care if you are robbed or had your apartment broken into, and finally will always support the landlord regardless of the circumstance. My apartment was robbed and they told me I could not break my contract and leave as the lardlord and struttandparker denied me so. I reverted to using my break clause (which I initially forced into the contract) which took place in a few months. The apartment I entered was not clean, furniture broken and damaged and they would not change it, and also not to mention their managing company trying to enter my apartment on multiple occasions using their keys while I was inside. This is a terrible money hunting company and I will never recommend them to anyone ever...

TrustpilotAn absolute pleasure
After a terrible experience trying to purchase a property with another agent in June last year, meeting Gina Simpson (from S&P in Herts) was a breath of fresh air. Every query we raised was answered within 24 hours and she seamlessly navigated our purchase from start to finish. Always available, ever professional and just a genuinely lovely person. We cant wait to see her again next week to get the keys to our new family home!

I have been a landlord client of the company for several years. The fees charged for property management are worth every penny, and considering the nature of the task in hand (keeping both landlords and tenants happy) the staff do an absolutely brilliant job. In particular I am always delighted with how quickly I receive statements around this time of year when my tax return is being completed and I usually need the information yesterday!

TrustpilotNothing is too much trouble for S&P
Nothing is too much trouble for S&P. We had issues with both the purchase of a new property and the sale of our old one and Marcus Brown from S&P could not had done more to help us. We vacated the property before we had sold and S&P were on hand should be have been unable to get back. If you want to buy or sell, we cannot recommend Strutt & Parker highly enough.

TrustpilotGreat people to work with!
We had a great experience working with Strutt & Parker, I'd like to give a 5 stars but our property took long to sell due to Brexit but the team were very professional, informative, they worked by our side to make this property sale and success. We would like to highlight that Steve and Anna are highly customer oriented. We are very grateful with all the support that the team at Strutt & Parker provided to us.

Terrible service from Strutt & Parker on Sloane Street.Alexandra turned up to do a viewing without giving us any notice and on the day we were to move out demanded to do a viewing after I emailed and explained our last 2 days would be hectic and could they give us privacy. She didn’t care and was so happy to get us in but couldn’t wait to get us out and get another tenant in.Nina the lettings manager I had to deal with on several occasions one being we had no fridge freezer or dishwasher working for 6 weeks of moving in.Then there was a gas leak and no oven working all I was told was “You have a microwave, kettle and toaster make do!” No customer care whatsoever.

TrustpilotUnprofessional bunch
I've had a relatively good and quick experience during the process of looking for a rental through Strutt & Parker, the viewing and offer process was quick and dealt with in a professional manner. After the offer was accepted, the experience changed, they were very unhelpful and unfriendly when negotiating the contract. They were somehow helpful when talking about the logistics during the move in day arranging for free parking.Once moved in, the property manager was very unhelpful, I had small queries about the facilities and they took a lot of time to respond and sometimes grossly misinforming us. For example, I was told that I can't change my electricity provider and in the end that proved to be a lie as we could and did change our electricity provider. The stress and work necessary to always go back-forth for the smallest of things is upsetting. Given that the rent for the place is 500/week I was expecting more professionalism but I guess that's too much to ask in a city where there are loads of people willing to pay what they're asking for. Hopefully that would change once Brexit hits the property market. During my interactions with them, I can say that there are very few fairly professional individuals working at Strutt & Parker while the rest are grossly unprofessional.

TrustpilotStrutt & Parker Perth Office
We used the Perth Office to sell our home after the first lock down last year. Hamish and Amy are first class. Despite the continued restrictions they were able to quickly organise the valuation, marketing and viewings. Attracted numerous viewers and received a successful offer within a few weeks of the advert going live online. Concluded the sale quickly without any issues. We would highly recommend them as selling agents for your home.

TrustpilotHad I Wanted a Project I Would Have Bought a Project
As I have been passing through complaint procedures this is my first opportunity to review Strutt and Parker. From ombudsman to court they had ample opportunity to mediate regarding their misstatements. Strutt and Parker were appalling, and my losses as an older woman are insurmountable. They were fortunate I could only afford small claims court, which they opposed wanting a full multitrack trial where the cost being so prohibitive could of left me bankrupt and homeless. Court procedures in a higher track, are robust and difficult for the litigant in person to navigate through. Although I performed weakly at the trial due to the stress and illness they caused me, my case was sound. I won the small action against this national company, the court ruling against them and in my favour. As only a small claim it was limited in the amount of award it could give but gave the maximum at that level. Called a saga by the court, Strutt and Parker claimed a substantial historic boundary feature was part of the property, but that was demolished after viewing. They claimed luxury when nothing worked, the drainage and plumbing, the heating, the fires, unbelievable in the north of England; all of which damaged my furniture, damaged everything; not a home, but squalor, and frozen. They knew and know well the vendor developer Stone Homes who they recommended. In court they claimed I was a knowledgable buyer, they with a 130 years experience in estate agency and me with my my life's investment in my only home.I won against them for their misstatement of the property, I won for the demolished historical artefact, I won against them on their disclaimer, which all meant I won against them on the ombudsman's result in their favour.Strutt and Parker should be reprinting all their UK sales particulars, their disclaimer didn't protect them in court for simple reasons. They should also look at how they engage with the ombudsman which in my experience cannot be trusted. They had the ability and chance to come out well but instead just show contempt for their home buying public.I had trusted Strutt and Parker, they abused that trust.
