I was recommended Paynes through a friend. I have to say the support from start to completion was outstanding. Our chain experienced a number of different issues but Melanie went above and beyond to hold the chain together in which she succeeded. Liz was always at hand to answer any queries and gave good advice. She was also a great negotiator. John’s knowledge of the property market and local area was second to none so I knew we were in good hands. Communication was great. Staff were very friendly. As a buyer they were great to deal with, regular and friendly communication, honest and transparent. From viewing to completion I've not had any issues with the service, it's been delightful. From Lee arranging the viewings and promptly finding out further info for me and then to Melanie who's kept on top of everything and gone above and beyond from putting in the offer to completion. It's been bumpy with the conveyancers but with Melanie at the wheel everything's just felt smoother 'thank God for Mel!' Absolutely would recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn’t recommend the team highly enough. They were so helpful and supportive throughout my house purchase, especially when things became stressful. They regularly chased the solicitors for me, kept me updated and made sure I always knew what was happening. They also recommended a mortgage broker who managed to get me a much better mortgage deal than I had originally been offered, which was a huge help. Milli in particular was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was so supportive, approachable and reassuring, and made the whole process feel so much less stressful. I always felt like I was in very competent hands and that someone was genuinely looking out for me. We have just used John Payne for the sale of our house. We have used Payne's several times now, bit for selling and buying. Our house took longer than we hoped to sell, but that was not because of how it was marketed by Payne's (In our opinion). In fact we were pleasantly surprised how Payne's kept pushing it and showing people around. I have left reviews before and will again mention my respect for Richard and Helen at Payne's, with their knowledge and professionalism throughout the process. If there was room for improvement it would be that they use my name (Hello Nigel) when sending emails, just a bugbear of mine in general.

Really impressed by the service provided by Mel whilst buying a property being sold by John Payne. Mel was on the ball with keeping me updated throughout the process. Anything that could be done to keep the process short she was sure to do and I was able to complete in a much shorter time than I expected! Her and her colleagues were also happy to attend the property at short notice with me to come for multiple viewings. In the future when I am looking to move I will be sure to come back to John Payne.
