I came into store and the lettings team was unfortunately unavailable. The kind friendly and supportive sales team was absolutely incredible and more than helpful to assist with my enquiries. I am not one for leaving reviews, good or bad, but feel I need to on this occasion. This is word of warning to any landlords/tenants thinking of using W.H.Brown. As a first time landlord, my experience of using this lettings team and Robyn, lettings Manager, has been very disappointing to say the least. Customer service was slow and unprofessional. No replies to many emails and requests for call backs when trying to resolve an issue, which only got sorted when a complaint was raised. No accountability to their errors and no-one taking ownership to get problems resolved in a timely, professional manner. A very high turnover of lettings staff over the last five years tells you everything you need to know about this company/branch.

Hettie has managed my anxiety (!) over selling during a slow market, guiding us to make sensible decisions while also responding to our requests for any changes positively and negotiating a sale for us after only 7 weeks! The best estate agents in chesterfield!! Whitney is the shining star who has helped me throughout my long journey of buying my first home! Every ridiculous little question, she’s answered, I walk in and she’ll go through everything with me, print and scan things for me without me even asking! I highly recommend the team at William H Brown for their excellent service and professionalism. I’ve been into them a few times - as a landlord new to the area, with queries that they have been very happy to support on. This confidence in them led to me using them for a tenant find service. I simply can’t fault them… from the honest conversation on rental value with Carly to the follow-through work with her and Cameron, both are a credit to the team. Working together they very quickly found the right tenant who has now moved in. The thing to call out in particular is their communication and responsiveness… they kept me updated and at no point did I have to chase. They obviously have a service to sell and provide, but at no point did they try to push anything. They felt like partners which - as any portfolio landlord will know, is key to success.
