GoogleI use Blundells to let my 3 properties and have done for a number of years. As an experienced landlord I use the 'Let only' package which suits my requirements perfectly. That said, should I require further assistance I know that the team will help in any way they can, and the service is very much tailored to my needs. They are friendly, accommodating and responsive. GoogleI have recently moved into a fantastic rental property out in Baslow. Often estate agents promise to keep you up to date but fail to deliver. Andy took details of my interest and proactively contacted me with a couple of properties really promptly when they came on the market. He accommodated my availability and the deal was sorted within days. Fantastic, friendly service and a couple of follow up calls to make sure all okay. Can't recommend highly enough.

GoogleI have been a landlord and used Blundells Chesterfield Branch as my letting agent for 14 years now. The staff within the branch are amazing I just cant fault the level of service I receive from Andrew (Gray) and his team. Always professional and friendly service I can rely on. With my recent end of tenancy both Laura and Andrew have been great as always and superbly responsive in finding another suitable tenant, working in an effective and timely manner. GoogleEmailed with interest, rang and left messages, even went into the shop and was told someone would be in touch later that day. Days later still heard nothing. I assume this would not be the case if I was buying not renting

GoogleBeen buying since June, had my mortgage advisor leave and then after that not a single courtesy call or email, didn’t reply to my email of me Introducing myself, don’t keep to appointment times saying they’re busy and over running. Happy to take £700 off of me tho but don’t want to do anything now I actually need some help and ready to finalise.

GoogleI rent out a bungalow in Wingerworth, Chesterfield and employ Blundells (Chesterfield) as my agent in this. I have been well satisfied with the work Blundells has done for me: both in finding tenants (the third has just moved in) and also in providing a full managed service throughout the lets. I have some experience with other agents in other parts of the country and have known good ones and bad ones: Blundells (Chesterfield) definitely ranks high amongst the first group.

GoogleMine and my partners first time moving and we had hiccups (probably inexperience in this area) which were sorted by the Blundells team with no fuss, and a great passion for customer service. Andy, Simon and anyone else who were able to assist us were positive, friendly and genuine people wanting to make our experience as good as it could be. All the complicated stuff is done though the company meaning our life is easier and less stressful, couldn’t be happier with the process!

GoogleIt should have been a red flag when we turned up for a viewing and the person in the house had no idea that a viewing was booked. It should have been another when the estate agent was late. However, we fell in love with the house and immediately put in an offer. It seemed that said offer was not immediately offered to the vendor, and this took some chasing up to get an answer on whether the offer had gone through as there was a lack of communication between the estate agents. Our offer was accepted, and the estate agent required proof that funds were in place for the house. They rang a few times on multiple days, but did not leave a message. Upon a phone call, they told us that two offers had been accepted, with ours being the lower one and we must urgently send proof of funds. When we sent proof of funds they were quick to tell us that the offer we did not make had been accepted and we couldn't top their offer in the manner that they had topped ours. While this practice is not illegal in England as 'acceptance' of an offer is not a legally binding statement as it is in Scotland, it is in my opinion that it is very convenient to the estate agent that they saw our level of funds prior to notifying us that they were rejecting our offer. It is also very convenient that the estate agent who had confirmed our offer seemed to know nothing of the assurance that the house was taken off the market. I'm sure that if you're selling with Blundells it is nothing but convenient to you and they would get you the most for your house through any means but I would not recommend buying through them. As with many estate agents, they seem to have little care for anything but their commission.

GoogleWe drove up from Essex to view a house with Blundells and when we went to the appointment after 5 pm they said that they hadn't got a key because the photographer had it. They lied about not having my contact details as I'd given them when I booked the viewing and also left a message, including phone number, before we set off. What a joke of a company but they did say sorry.

GoogleI booked a viewing at an apartment I was interested in with KC at the Chesterfield branch. From that first day communication from KC was excellent. On the day KC was punctual, friendly and very professional. She answered my (many) questions thoroughly. I wouldn't hesitate in using Blundells again in the future.
