Savills' Wandsworth office has managed my flat rental for 6 years and it's largely been smooth and hassle-free. Everyone with whom I've dealt at the Wandsworth office has been friendly and helpful. The five star rating is for each of them, individually, with Maria J being especially helpful in recent months. (Overall, my experience has been nearer to 4 stars because of changes in staff that challenge continuity of service).

Very poor customer service, they did not act with integrity or professionalism. Neither branch nor head office attempted to rectify the situation either. All in all, a disappointing experience as a prospective tenant.Do not recommend this agency.

My experience with Victoria Short of Savills, Stamford exceeded all my expectations. Disappointingly, the seller and our solicitors, were not prepared to put their full weight behind enabling me to purchasing a property in Rutland showing no sense of urgency. In fact, apathy and incompetence best describe the purchasing environment. Not perturbed, Victoria swiftly identified the strengths and weaknesses of those involved and formed a strategy of imposing relentless pressure on all fronts - realising that this was the only way forward. This strategy and her communication skills, both in the spoken and written word, coupled with her ability to quickly identify the best way forward in addressing each and every obstacle, and they appeared endless, gave her all the opportunity she needed to demonstrate her brilliant communication skills. Her dominance was so impressive that all parties seemed only prepared to move, in any meaningful direction, on her say so. Without Victoria at the ‘helm’ the process would have become so protracted the sale may well not have come to fruition for their were many times when I had lost all patience that my willingness to move forward was waning. I cannot thank Victoria enough for her performance. She can feel justly proud of her efforts for she has demonstrated that she is an extremely valued asset to the Savills, Stamford team.For completeness, I should point out, apart from her outstanding professional competence, she has a delightful and vivacious personality - always smiling and always looking on the bright side.Thank you Victoria.

Anthony, Kelly and Felix were all a pleasure to deal with. I'm a landlord with over 10 years experience and all those mentioned were professional, responsive and helpful in my dealings with them. In particular, Anthony conducted seven viewings on a single packed day and I received an email from him the next morning with four offers over asking, presented in a digestible format with his thoughts on each - the first time anyone has taken the trouble to do this. Also, he doesn't call you "mate" and chew gum, which is a bonus!

My sale was handled by Savills in Marlow and in particular Mairead Monsen who was everything you could ask for from an agent selling your property. All the viewings were handled professionally and feedback was forthcoming after each visit. Once the buyer had made an offer Mairead was a reliable and diligent negotiator who helped bring the sale to a close. In the interim period until completion Mairead continued to be the main contact to resolve any issues and see the sale through to a satisfactory conclusion. I am pleased that Savills was my choice of agent for the sale and would recommend them whole heartedly to anyone looking to market their property.

I recently used Savills to sell my house. Jon Lacey was my primary contact and he was excellent. Prior to getting an offer he kpt me well informed of progress including feedback on all viewings. When we had an offer made he was proactive in handling it and negotiating an improved offer which I then accepted. Best of all, during the sale process after I accetpted the offer he remained very active,chasing progress and keeping me well informed. Without doubt the best individual estate agent I have ever dealt with

I was incredibly impressed with the service that Savills offered. They sold our house within 3 months and I felt well informed at every stage. Troy from the Bristol office did a brilliant job. He conducted a thorough appraisal and valuation of our property and had expert knowledge of our local area. His report also gave a clear marketing strategy which provided brilliant results. The marketing particulars produced were excellent and the viewings were conducted during times that worked well for us. Troy maintained brilliant communication at all times and was always available to speak to. He went above and beyond and was involved in every stage of the process. Selling a house is often stressful but Troy and his team made the process feel very easy and everything ran incredibly smoothly. Cannot recommend Jamie Carter & every member of his team highly enough. Their forthright manner was perfect. They were professional, courteous, honest, truthful, direct & all so delightful to work with. We enjoyed every minute of the sales process with them & a little sad when the sale was completed if we are honest. Perfect consistency throughout, didn’t matter if a team member was on holiday or day off. It must make a difference with the office sharing commission as apposed to one particular sales person. Certainly a plus if one is comparing agents. Wasn’t the reason we chose Savills. The helpfulness & friendliness of Alison in the office, when we made the initial call & meeting Jamie when he came to value, no contest. As long as their advice is taken on board, after all they have the knowledge & expertise, one could not ask for a better company to sell one’s home

We bought a flat that was on Savills Islington's books. Sophie was our main contact who was incredibly helpful during the process. She was really good at chasing things up like the management pack, most importantly ensuring communication between the two sides' solicitors went as smooth as possible, organising extra viewing pre-exchange, etc. The branch even gave a little welcome gift on the day we got the keys to our new place.Two points I do remember that could have been better in my opinion. First, at the start of the purchase process the mortgage valuation took much longer than we wanted. We asked for Sophie/Savills to check with the relevant valuation companies whether they could speed things up, as we knew other estate agents had done this for us in previous (ultimately unsuccessful) purchase processes. We were told to do this ourselves as we were the customer and not the seller (i.e. their customer), despite the process' timings would be in the interest of Savills and the seller as well.Second, before going into the process of buying a property: when trying to book viewings sometimes the time it took for the agent to call back (if not immediately available) was longer than the receptionist promised, so I had to chase up.But overall we were very happy with Savills Islington and Sophie as our contact person -- hence the 5 stars.
