First time buyer with no experience of purchasing a property. All the staff in the Darlington branch of Robinsons that I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with over the course of the purchase were amazing and incredibly helpful. Made what should have been a stressful first purchase a breeze. Thank you very much, especially Katherine who had found me the house that I went on to buy before it was even listed. 100% would recommend Robinsons, I will definitely use them if I ever move again.

Excellent Sedgefield Team

Robinsons Sedgefield have provided me with an excellent service. I had a buy to let property which I was looking to dispose of & the team at Sedgefield were most helpful at every stage. Ryan was so committed and nothing was ever too much trouble, he would pop round to update photos to ensure the property was marketed at its very best. I was kept up to date with regards to viewings & feedback & once a sale was agreed Jade & Sharon maintained regular contact to keep me updated right through to completion day. Highly Recommended!

We have just bought a house through the Ingleby Barwick office and Victoria could not have been more helpful. We had a nightmare with solicitors and it was touch and go whether we were going to complete or not! As first time buyers we didn’t really know what we were doing, but Victoria was always on hand to answer any questions and was constantly checking in with us! Fantastic service throughout the whole…

Fantastic service throughout the whole experience, nothing was too much trouble. We used Sedgefield branch and we can’t praise them highly enough , definitely a five star service . Thanks to Ryan’s great video our house sold in under a week . Sharon and Jade kept us informed at every stage of the move and were always friendly and helpful and able to offer advice whenever we needed it . A shame for one to let you down

I have recently bought and sold through Robinsons - Sam and Natalie were wonderful and very good at their job, in fact, every other person I dealt with in that office was never anything short of lovely. However, the person I was dealing with (A), was rude, patronizing, and generally unpleasant to deal with. She made the whole process more challenging and I found her manner abrasive and rude most of the time. For that reason, I will not use Robinsons in the future to sell a home.

This is the third house that Robinsons have sold for us over the past 30yrs and yet again we have been extremely pleased with their service. Robinsons are ahead of the game as regards Online viewing. The quality of the video that Louie put together for us was exceptional and our purchaser was not disappointed when they booked to view and commented on how good the video walk through the house was. During the whole process Robinsons kept us informed and updated on both the sale of our home and the purchase of our new home (we purchased via Robinsons as well) A huge thank you to Joy Cruddas who made the whole process of selling and buying feel like a breeze. I have no hesitation in recommending Robinsons 100%. They work hard in the interest of their customers whilst also maintaining a very approachable, friendly and professional attitude. After a considerable time using other local agents to sell my home and no offers, I handed my property to Robinsons in Durham. Their manager Keith, Sales team Stacey, Anne and Julie and basically everyone in branch really went over and above their duties to work with me and facilitate my sale. Robinsons Darlington dealt with my purchase of a house at Newton Aycliffe.Each time I called them - they answered the phone.Each time they said they'd get back to me - they did.The staff were professional and reliable, with a strong outward confidence and maturity that instilled trust and assurance in me throughout a long and complicated purchase.On an individual basis, I dealt mostly with a lady called Joy. I'm not sure I have the vocabulary to explain how truly brilliant she is at her job. If I owned a company, I'd want Joy heading up my team. She is the consummate professional and one of the most tenacious people I have ever encountered. Her ability to track down and report back information would shame a Fleet Street reporter.If Joy is representative of the other staff at Robinsons then every other estate agent in the North-East should be quaking in their boots and wondering how they can step up to the mark.Does she bring in huge sales? I've no idea. Does she make an excellent cup of tea? You're guess is as good as mine. Does she sing like an angel at the Christmas Karaoke? Perhaps! On these things I have no idea, but I'll tell you what I know for sure. She provides the level of service that we all hope to receive, but rarely get. She does the job that ALL estate agents should do, and she does it exceptionally well.It may sound like I'm making a little too much noise, but in this day and age it is rare to find anyone or any business that actually gives a service you feel impressed by, so when it happens, I like to make some noise.It's easier to get a round of drinks from me than it is to get five Stars, so those first four stars are for Robinsons, but that fifth one, that very top one, is exclusively for Joy because she earned it.Thanks Robinsons!Thanks Joy :)

Absolute Excellence

Having been badly burned previously by another estate agent I was more than excessively apprehensive, stressed and even terrified to sell another house!! I’d found a house I liked, had an offer accepted which was all handled by Robinson’s without any issues and then I met Sam the manager. I spoke with him about wanting to auction my house, about my lack of knowledge and more importantly the fear I had following previous experience. Sam was amazing, he was professional but very friendly, informative and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, never once did he try to persuade or pressure me in any direction and I think at some point I’ve spoken to all of the staff at Bishop Auckland and found them all to be very friendly, helpful and professional. Sam took all the stress away, he always kept in touch with updates and changed my perception of estate agents Completely. I’m now living in my new home and my old house sold very quickly under the watchful eye of Sam in just a matter of weeks. He dealt with the minor hiccups promptly and made the whole journey of buying and selling property simultaneously so much easier than I could ever have hoped for. I would have no hesitation to recommend Sam and his Team. They deliver excellent service, communicate well and really do look after their clients.

I would highly recommend Robinson’s estate agents and would definitely use them again. We both bought and sold through Robinson’s Darlington branch and the girls where lovely and so helpful throughout especially Kathrine Quinton on sales and Joy Cruddas on sales progression. Nothing was a problem and they always went the extra mile to help us and to make everything go as smoothly as possible. I hope Robinson’s appreciate how lucky there are to have them as part of there team! I’ve used various estate agents in the past and in my opinion Robinson’s are the best there is.
