Outstanding! Selling our home of 21 years was always going to be a heart breaking experience, it was such a big thing for us as a family but Copeland Residential were truly amazing! We spoke to David and explained exactly what we needed from them and boy did they deliver. David was kind, understanding and great to get along with, he made the whole experience a lot easier than I had imagined. Holly is just wonderful, she knows everything that's happening and if you have a question about the process, how far along it is or what you should do next she's there with all the updates and she even finds time to talk to you when you find the whole process overwhelming. Having to spoken to a few different members of the team I can honestly say you'd be hard pushed to find a nicer more helpful, friendly and kind bunch of people. Paul Copeland knows every property that's on his books, his care, help and knowledge helped greatly when we were agreeing the sale, his attention to detail with even the small things was greatly appreciated. I can’t say enough about how fantastic Holly and the whole team were during my house purchase. From start to finish, Holly was in complete control of the process calm, professional, and such a pleasure to communicate with. Had to sell mother in laws house. Contacted Copeland Residential. An appointment was made for my convenience. David was spot on time and it was evident from the start he knew the local market well. A friendly and comprehensive survey was carried out. A sensible price was suggested and a couple of options put forward. We went down the auction route. Wisely as it turns out. Copeland Residential Estate Agent in Chester-Le-Street , Durham has been a great find for me. They have been recommended to me by a good friend who has been buying properties from them for several years. The staff are extremely helpful and professional. They have an in-depth knowledge of the houses they have on their books.They give honest information in regards to the properties and it’s real value and also on the local area. I have never waited for more than a few seconds for someone to take my call. My emails were definitely answered on the same if not the same hour. Dealt with female employee at Chester le street office i asked her to forward an offer for a property . She said don't think they will accept that. She never got back to me with a response from vendors at all. That was 5 july on 9th July I e.mailed her asking had she spoke to vendors still nothing ..I spoke to her again and she said I must apologise I have a draft but havnt pressed send...I think it is disgraceful and very unprofessional. Even if the offer was rejected she never came back with a counter offer and she should have informed me.

Rang a week ago to enquire about a property was told I would receive a call back after they’ve spoken to the landlord, that didn’t happen. Called back again yesterday had to give my details for the 2nd time and told I would be called back by today at latest, this never happened. Rang again 3rd time had to give over all my details and be told they’ve been showing people around the property but failed to even call me back and that they’d let me know after they’ve spoken to the landlord again. Asked to speak to manager of the branch and was told I will get a call back tomorrow, wonder if it’ll actually happen. Really not impressed with this branch and feels very discriminatory since their whole attitude changes when you mention you’re unemployed, doesn’t matter if you’re willing to pay £750 a month on a £495 a month house they really don’t care about losing clients money. Update: Paul did ring and leave a voicemail as I missed the call which is appreciated. However when returning Paul was out of office so I requested another callback which was met with abuse from the female member of staff because I said I didn’t trust I’d get another call back today, which she assured me I would, low and behold I was right. Further update: finally got a call back, had to post a letter through at the property to finally get a response in regards to the property. Shame you can have close to half a million in the bank, own other properties without mortgages, unit trusts, investment bonds and maxed out isas but don’t qualify because I don’t have a home owner guarantor so it seems they don’t really understand much passed the basics in regards to financial securities. But they’re more than happy to sell me a property lol, hopefully they’ll be better at that.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

We completed the sale of our home of 20 years yesterday. A chain of 4 with some complexity and I wanted to say thank you to all the team. Paul is extremely commercial and practical and arranged 2 viewings the day we first met. Our house sold on the first day of marketing at the full asking price. The team are very practical and proactive. I have not seen this level of pragmatism and commerciality before.
