GoogleStorey’s are a fantastic estate agent! Worth every penny!!!!!! Sold our house for more than expected and more than it was marketed at. One agency said we wouldn’t get more than X amount. Went to Storey’s and not only did they advise we can get 20k more, they sold it for 10k more than that!! Absolutely quality service! They set up a WhatsApp group with us, and the solicitors they recommended who we used, who were also fantastic!!! Always instants communication!! They say buying and selling is the most stressful thing, but the only stressful thing was actually packing up and moving! GoogleCannot fault the service we received from Storeys. From seeing the house on the website including a video tour, right through to completion day the service was second to none. They went above and beyond what we expected including supporting us with holdups in the chain below us. We were always able to book appointments at a time to suit us and links between us and the sellers were handled efficiently by Storey's. Google• What attracted you to the house in the first place The fact it was a barn conversion which tend to be quite spacious and clearly looking though the photos and reading the advert… it was. • How did you find your experience of booking appointments with us Pretty quick, simple, professional • How did you find the level of contact once the sale had been agreed We were give a contact who would help us though the sale and the movement between the solicitors and past any questions we needed answers and vice versa. GoogleSelling our home was not really on our agenda, however, as we all know life changes and ours did. My son got in touch with Ian at Storeys and was sold straight away by their ethos. I on the other hand, sceptical, mainly as they were requesting a higher fee than others. Ian came to see us on a Sunday, listened to our concerns and like my son we believed he could deliver and he did. They just take the pain, stress of house moving away. Viewings to completion 6 weeks. £ 20,000 over asking price. This has now allowed us to move in with our elderly father to care for him in his latter years. If anyone asked me would you go with Storey’s again, unconditionally yes! Google2021: After moving to Australia and renting with Storeys for a year, we’ve now sold our house allowing us to fully explore the land down under! I had a few initial reservations about the higher than average fee, but Ian knew us and our house and was passionate about helping us through the sales process. Through Covid and our 9hr time difference the storeys team were great. We had a few set backs along the way, but each time we overcame the obstacles together. Great communication, great team, excellent commitment, great launch, excellent viewing numbers, numerous offers and a sale completed over the asking price. Plus... having read other reviews about meter readings etc... Ian even sorted the meter readings out! Which I didn’t expect! 😉 2019: Thank you for making this prices so simple and straightforward. Renting while out of the country is stressful, but your friendly and digital approach has made it much easier. Love the video calls, WhatsApp and more. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

GoogleI really, really enjoy the effort and details put in every listing Storeys have. The video tours, property descriptions and photos really communicate a lifestyle and personality with every individual property. I think they have hit upon a really interesting gap in a marketplace, which is currently filled with a lot of cut and paste mediocrity, this doesn’t entice the buyer or help the seller achieve top value for their property. GoogleAt the risk of sounding cheesy Ian & Alex at Storey Estates really have helped make our dream come true. Within 5 days of putting our house on the market Ian secured us an offer of £20k over the asking price. Ian’s attention to detail with the photography and drone video made all the difference to the presentation of our property. (Previously we had our property on the market for 6 months with a local Estate Agent and had only 2 viewings and no offers.) We were so impressed with Ian’s negotiating skills that we instructed him to negotiate on the purchase of our new property. With his patience and determination he was able to save us £30K off the asking price, far in excess of anything we would have been able to achieve ourselves. Throughout the whole process Ian & Alex have made themselves available at all times to ensure things moved quickly and smoothly right up to completion date. They even took calls from us at the top of a mountain in France while they were on a skiing holiday. GoogleUnsure of whether to sell or extend Ian came to our home at a convenient time in the evening and gave us an hour of his time. He advised what work he would recommend in order to get the house in a suitable position to sell, also advising what prospective purchasers would be looking for. The 11 step selling programme was very engaging and encouraging. He was well researched and advised of his valuation that night. Ian also recommended what options may be available to change/extend our home that we hadn’t already considered should we not want to sell. Ian appreciated that we had a lot of thinking to do and didn’t push for a sale, in fact maybe the opposite and in the process maintaining a good relationship for potential future business.

GoogleIan came to see us after we used his online valuation tool. we can't place the house on the market straight away as we work from home but with Ian's help a plan has been agreed. We received guidance on how to present the house for sale to achieve the best price. his approach was a breath of fresh air , no pushy sales, genuinely interested in getting best price. his 11 stage plan is clear and makes sense . we have already started on the redecorating and decluttering and Ian has also been available to advise on best paint colour. we feel genuinely excited about the future and knowing that ongoing support is there is already making it less stressful. no upfront fees , no contract , plain and simple
