Every time we move we use Big Yellow - well priced, reliable, safe and the staff have always gone above and beyond to be helpful. A big shout out to Zara, Jeff, Emma and Izzy who work at the Chester storage centre. All so friendly, answered all our questions and make everything run smoothly. Big Yellow are lucky to have them.

All the staff are extremely polite,friendly,professional and helpful, I struggled to sign up (totally down to me) but after a very reassuring call with zara, I went down, with a lovely brew from Emma and Geoff literally sorting everything for me we were soon in, highly recommend ☺️

In terms of the staff at Big Yellow Storage, I cannot fault them. They have always been cheerful, helpful and polite and I would be rating BYS Chester 100% if it were based solely on how the staff here work to make things pleasant for the customer - HOWEVER… After almost daily visits here for the past four weeks (and aside from the unfortunate slope away from the storage doors in the car park) the overriding feeling from using Big Yellow Storage Chester is incredible frustration at how the staff allow customers to park *immediately* in front of loading access doors, making entry to and from the storage with your large trolley full of big and heavy items, an infuriating obstacle course to avoid damaging their vans or knocking your items off the trolley and all over the car park. Perhaps a dose of common sense is needed by staff in preventing parking in front of the access doors and by customers not to be so ridiculously lazy and to park in the actual parking spaces that are only twenty feet away, so that other people can use the facility as well as them. Bone idleness and selfishness doesn’t even come close to covering a lot of the behaviour I saw often, which really puts a dampener on the BYS experience.

This is my 3rd year using Big Yellow due to having to move house every year whilst being a student. All staff are extremely helpful, I’ve been helped by Martin and Geoff who were so informative and professional every step of the way. Everything is easily explained and staff are there if needed. Always so clean and feels very secure! Great value for money too!

Jeff, Geoff and Lynn were all amazing. So friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. We had pre-booked a room, but weren't sure if the size was correct, Jeff and Lynn took us to see another room and did all they could to compete with the price of the smaller room. Definitely recommend!

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT service by Big Yellow Self Storage (Chester) Jeff Banks. Quick responses via email by Jeff Banks and his excellent service made a difficult situation into an extremely easy one. My son studies at the University of Chester, during the national lockdown he had to return home to Los Angeles. Since the University year is finished we had to find storage for my son's belongings and we are over 8000 miles away. Jeff Banks sorted it all out for us to have storage available, and was able to authorize University personnel to move my son's belongings into Big Yellow Self storage in Chester. A big worry initially but communicating with Jeff Banks made it all seem like we were actually there in Chester. Emailing was done at hours which suited both our time zones (us being 8 hours behind GMT). So all THANKS to Jeff for making it so easy and worry free. I am a business owner and good employees are extremely hard to find, Big Yellow Self Storage (Chester) count yourselves extremely fortunate to have someone like Jeff representing you, he is an asset to the company.

Our Business has used the Chester Storage now for the last 5/6 years . We have a large storage room in the building . Building is secure and clean . Never had any issues . Would recommend any small business to have their storage here . Plus the 2 Jeff’s and Martin cannot do enough for you when asked . A very friendly working environment.
