What an absolute joke they are sold house quick but took 7 months to complete. They always had an excuse . Never there fault When rang up to chase they was just about to do it ? Never kept me upto date . Never rang back when supposed too

Very poor experience with Reeds Rains Stockton-on-Tees. We travelled over 3.5 hours for a confirmed viewing, but the agent arrived late and the tenant refused access, clearly showing the viewing had not been properly arranged. We waited for hours with no communication or callback from the branch despite being promised one. A completely wasted 7-hour round trip, loss of earnings, and very unprofessional service. Would not recommend.

It was a great experience dealing with Reeds Rains. I just landed in UK and I struggled a lot in finding a place as per my need, but special call out to Gurdit for his attitude and professionalism to make this deal for me. I dealt with Many agents before when I was here last time but Team Reeds Rains is best in every aspect be it responding to calls, emails and top class service. GoogleI have just bought a flat in Wilmslow through Reeds Rains. The solicitors seemed to be faffing about a lot towards the end and Isabella at Reeds Rains was amazing, she chased everyone up almost daily and let me know what was going on. We finally made it happen very late on the proposed moving date, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have happened without Isabella's help.

My Initial Call with Lucy was warm and welcoming, she was able to accommodate myself for a viewing soon as due to my work schedule, ever since Lucy has followed up and has been nothing but above and beyond for myself and my wife, she has kept us in the loop from start to finish I would definitely highly recommend anyone to approach Lucy as I am confident that you will receive the highest level of service that we have received I am grateful for the fast and efficient process to renting my home. I rented a lovely property though Reid Raines for nearly two years with no issues with payment from myside. Me and my partner purchased our first mortgage and vacated the property in December 16th 2022 in line with our contract with all payments made to the penny. We are now on the 24th Jan 2023 and I am still chasing my deposit down which my landlord paid back the full amount to Reid Raines. The issue is no fault of my own but an admin issue between the deposit company and the estate agents not responding to each other. Sue is a manager at the Liverpool branch who often sighs down the phone and talks with an aggressive tone when asked for updates. I work in the customer service industry in a senior management position so I know how to communicate professionally which Reid Raines maybe need some top up training on. I have since paid the £25 same day bank transfer as I felt it money well spent not having to communicate with this estate agents again.Although I understand sometimes people may not be having the best day - my experience with Reid Raines is unprofessional and I seemed like I was bothering them by calling and speaking politely. They offer beautiful properties with a unprofessional service which his a shame but hopefully they can improve. 2/10

Had an appointment with the mortgage advisor, Joe at hillsborough branch. Absolutely brilliant experience. Joe was lovely and so helpful. The entire team were lovely and could tell it was a nice work environment. The team was so good at communicating with me and my boyfriend so we was always up to date with everything. Would highly recommend.

This is in reference to the Rye Branch.All started well with my intended property purchase, but I was to learn I made a big mistake in using their recommended company of conveyancing solicitors.When the latter proved to be simply appalling, the branch manager decided to go AWOL. No attempt was made to retrieve the situation or to contact me.That was the end of the potential sale. So very disappointing.

TrustpilotWhy do we still need Estate Agents in 2024?
Apparently this estate agent can only sell houses during THIER opening times. How ridiculous. All they need to do is contact the seller to ask if they are happy to undertake a viewing after work, around 5-6pm. If the seller is not happy with that, fine, I'll respect their wishes and find another property. My wife and I are registered with them and we've already viewed another property where the vendor showed us round. Don't the majority of people who want to buy a house work for a living? I thought estate agents had modernised their practices but Reeds Rains still seem stuck in the 80s.

Rude, degrading staff. Not helpful at all very judgmental and cocky. Would never ever like to sell my house or buy a house from them. Andrew was fabulous everyone else just total discussing rude behaviour, no empathy and just rude.

We used Reeds Rains selby north yorkshire to sell our bungalow , things were ok ( allthough we had to do all the chasing up on viewings and despite telling the manager not happy with the service or the lack of it nothing changed ) upto selling but once we had a buyer the manager lost all interest , no updates with how things were progressing and not even a thank you once they got paid quite a large sum of money . definitely will never use them again .

I cannot agree with your comments around lack of feedback for your viewings as we had multiple customers viewings on your property and I can see notes on every viewing where the staff were chasing and collecting and giving feedback to you. I also do not agree with your loss of interest comment either. I, personally, helped negotiate the offer, achieving £14,000 above the asking price as well as running through information, looking at floorplans and discussing the property you wished to purchase (not being sold via Reeds Rains). During the progression of your sale, I had numerous conversations with you, including when your buyers had lost their purchaser, and I understood from the buyers you had exchanged numbers. At the exchange and competition stage we would normally receive all keys and would thank you for being a customer however, with you having exchanged numbers, and agreeing with the buyers you would meet them to hand keys over directly, we were left out of this stage. So I will thank you for being a customer, I'm happy we helped you buy and sell and buy again, I hope you enjoy your new house and hopefully our paths cross again.Regards,Reeds Rains Selby

Absolute rubbish. I don’t recommend. I’m in the process of selling. It’s been a total frustration & I feel very badly let down by the staff at Reeds Reins Ossett. I have no idea what they are doing for their commission as it’s always me that’s chasing & trying to get things moving, I’m always getting the answer machine & I very rarely get calls back. It would be a very big review if I went into the nitty gritty of the problems due to their lack of effort. Communication is RUBBISH, the worst of any company I have ever dealt with. They didn’t keep on top of our first sale & we lost alot of time because of them. The second sale is on with & again they haven’t done anything. We’re 3 months into a sale that was supposed to take a month & it’s because they don’t chase things up or communicate with you. I complained by email to the manager laying out their negligence with the first sale. One of the members of staff agreed with my comments on the phone but the manager never responded. I rang twice for a response to my email…nothing. I’ve screenshot all the calls & you can see from my call log that they don’t get back to you. I emailed asking for a response to my complaint & it wasn’t barely a response just a couple of lines of nothing. I’m so so frustrated & fed up of doing all the leg work myself. Very disappointed. I was about to pull out of the sale & move somewhere else as I’d had enough & then they finally did something, however since then I’ve had nothing & yet again I’ve had to chase.

GoogleSold my ex rental property with Mark. The staff Olivia and Hayley were excellent all the way through keeping me updated and informed. I had owned this house since left university and it was rented out with another agency. It had started to cause me problems with tenants and gaps so I needed it selling quickly. The team suggested a way to sell that made it so easy and I got more than I thought it was worth. They listened to what my needs were and provided the best solution. Always smiling when I came into the office - next time Im passing im bringing the cakes :-)

the service at Reed rain Durham, Darlington and Leeds is an absolute sxxtshow. there's no communication and the landlord isn't kept in the loop with anything. all the staff dealing with our property are totally incompetent and useless. they pass you on to other staff as they aren't capable of sorting out the job. Happy to take your money but provide no service. go to another estate agent 🙂
