The Archer & Co team at Chepstow office had been incredibly supportive throughout the process. There have been some ups and downs during the journey with loosing our first sale early on through no fault of the agent and it didn’t take long before we sold again. The team provided confidence in the house valuation and presented a professional quality advert which soon attracted buyers through the doors. They all had hands on approach, no silly question was a problem, we were kept up to date with the progress. We cannot thank enough for the drive to make it happen for us. We would highly recommend and are grateful to the whole team especially Kerry, Tracey, Lisa, Katie and Kelly. They were all part of our journey and we wouldn’t be in our dream home if it wasn’t for their continued commitment and care. A big thank you from Martina and Glyn

Had a complaint on moving in, reached out. Although it did take some time, Chloe was able to help sort this out and communicated transparently throughout. Still hoping to get some other concerns looked at but mostly down to me persevering and hoping I’m not expecting too much. Update (22/1/26): I was able to get help with my recent boiler issues and Chloe Peachey was of great help expediting and prioritising my concerns. Great customer service. Update (18/5/26): Ameerah conducted an inspection and was able to help with escalating pressing issues which I found very helpful. They were polite and helpful.

Rented a while back Seraph and had a poor experience. There was miscommunication over parking from the start, followed by bathroom and leak issues from January through to June that required repeated chasing and repair attempts. The situation was very stressful to live with, and the only compensation offered was £30 for poor communication. I would not rent through them again.

We left a review earlier this year prior to selling our house with Archer & Co, and having now completed our sale, we wanted to give a special mention to Kelly for progressing everything through to completion. Our sale hasn’t been the smoothest (due to issues within the chain, through no fault of Archer & Co) but despite this, Kelly has navigated everything calmly and professionally. Tracey and her team were incredibly professional and helpful right from the point where we requested a valuation. We were impressed with the sales pitch and the effort that had clearly gone into determining a valuation for our property. Even though Archer and Co were a little more expensive than some other agents in the area we felt that the service they were offering was worth the extra. They achieved a higher sale price (and offers) for us than other agents suggested as listing price. This gave us more reassurance of their dedication. Archer and Co manged the sale of the property earlier this year. The process was excellent, starting with the marketing appraisal by Kerrie Edwards, who was extremely knowledgeable and was able to make very useful recommendations on points that she noted; including suggesting a structural survey to confirm the nature of some cracks, at the property as well as other helpful advice. The suggested marketing price was higher than competitors, but it was achieved. The marketing brochure produced by Suzanne Thomas and video narrated by Kerrie was very professional. Emma Liley managed the final offer procedure with great skill to achieve a very good result for us. Kelly Morgan, in sales progression, negotiated the road to exchange and completion with great skill and patience. Overall it was good experience that resulted in a successful house sale.

Archer & Co have really delivered when selling my property. All aspects of the team stepped up following the break down of a previous chain following 6 months of conveyancing. The property was sold within a week of remarketing with the right buyer. The viewing specialists Jen and Gary were just fantastic and really understood the task at hand. Overall, I had a mixed but generally positive experience with this estate agent. The initial consultation about my property was very positive. Kerrie was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and explained the sales process clearly, which gave me confidence from the outset. I was also very happy with the marketing, both the photographs and the written description presented my property really well. It did take around a year to secure a buyer, but during that time I was kept updated by Lisa and felt the property was being actively marketed, which I appreciated. Towards the later stages of the sale, there were some communication issues and instances of miscommunication, particularly between the estate agent and my solicitor. For example, around the Christmas period, I was given differing expectations from each party about when the sale would complete, both seemed to suggest it would be before or just after Christmas, but this ultimately didn’t happen. As a result, I was left unsure who to rely on, which made the situation more confusing and stressful than it needed to be. I do appreciate that at this stage of the process, much of the responsibility sits with the solicitors rather than the estate agent. However, as I was not receiving much communication from my solicitor, I did reach out to the estate agent (Kelly) for updates, and they were helpful in providing what information they could. That said, there were still some gaps that added to the overall uncertainty. When the initial completion date did not go ahead, communication was limited, and it wasn’t always clear what was happening. When completion took place the following day, I was not proactively informed that funds had been received or that the buyers would be collecting the keys, which would have helped avoid some uncertainty at a critical stage. Overall, I appreciate the strong start, the quality of marketing, and the support during a long sale process. Clearer communication between all parties towards the end would have made the experience smoother.
