I've had a great experience with Perry Bishop both as a tenant and later as a buyer. Throughout both journeys, the team were professional, responsive and easy to deal with. As a tenant, Jeff Emerson was always quick to respond to any issues and resolved them efficiently. The checkout process was also incredibly smooth, with my deposit returned just 72 hours after I moved out. When buying my home, I was fortunate to have Sam Smith as the Sales Progressor. She couldn't have been more helpful especially during a few challenging points in the process. Sam was professional, proactive and always on hand to answer my questions and keep things moving. Her support and positive approach made a real difference. I'd happily recommend Perry Bishop to anyone looking to rent or buy a home.

All of the team at Perry Bishop - Faringdon were great. From getting our property listed to the after sales service, they were always available on the phone or email. It didn't matter who you spoke to in the office, they were all up to date with our file which was very impressive. Despite our buyer's solicitor being worse than useless, Michelle was always on the case doing her best to push things along. Would definitely recommend them if you're selling in the area.

Excellent service. The initial consultation with Harriet was so professional. Our house isn't easily comparable with others, but the valuation work was really well researched. She was really honest about the positives and negatives of living where we do and helped us have a realistic view on timescales. The marketing and pricing strategy worked out really well and we got 99% of the price we jointly agreed was our target. The chain was long and, sadly, broke down, but quickly reformed. Again, Harriet gave us great advice but always gave us the decision making power. Michele, who handles the post - offer process, was brilliant too. Fortnightly updates as a minimum and realism about how long it would take. She was definitely motivating people along the chain to make it all happen. I would definitely use them again.

We used Abigail Sutcliffe for our house sale after talking to a couple of estate agents in Cheltenham. We got the impression that Abby would go the extra mile to achieve our sale. Abby did a great job to find our buyer and manage the process through. This included communication with all levels of the chain, including having a good relationship with the agent we were buying from. All of this helped greatly with the sale process. Abby was also available at any time on any day: early mornings, evenings, weekends - nothing was too much trouble. Due to us having rather specific purchase requirements and being concerned it was going to take a long time to find the right property for us, we chose to sell our own property with discreet marketing, i.e. not on Rightmove etc. Abby used her contacts well, finding the right buyer and managed expectations with them well. I would definitely recommend Abby.

I would like to sincerely thank Michelle Murphy at Perry Bishop for her support, kindness, and quick responses throughout my buying journey. Michelle was always extremely helpful, answering all my questions within days and keeping me informed at every stage, which I truly appreciated. That said, I do have mixed feelings about the overall experience. The seller accepted our offer in mid-March, and by the end of May both my solicitor and I were ready to exchange. However, the process extended until late August, and when we were finally ready to complete, my solicitor’s firm was unfortunately intervened. This caused further delays, though in the end I only took one week extra to complete from the originally agreed date after the intervention. During this period, I went through a lot of stress and panic, particularly as I had already paid my deposit to the solicitor. Thankfully, I did receive my deposit back before completion, and everything was sorted in the end. I do not place blame on Perry Bishop for these circumstances, but I do feel that if the agents had been a little more assertive or clearer about timeframes with the seller, it might have reduced the stress and uncertainty I experienced. As a first-time buyer, I have certainly experienced the worst in this process, but I am grateful that Michelle ensured information was passed on to me promptly and always before any deadlines. For that reason, I would still recommend Perry Bishop, with the advice to give clear deadlines to sellers early on.
