GoogleIt would be difficult to work Alex's approach to selling houses. I need someone with more confidence in their selling ability and one who holds the vendors best interest before their own. His communication skill is low. I need someone with energy and positive enthusiasm. Chicken Licken would have done a better job of my house appraisal. Submitting the appraisal after 4 working days is too slow.
I would not trust this company to be involved in any part of selling my home.

Living 400 miles away, I sought advice from my sisters solicitor about the process south of the border.
She recommended getting in touch with Kingsley Evans estate agents, in particular with Alex Holmes, whom she thought highly of.
Best advice I could have been given!
Alex took on the sale of the property, very promptly, efficiently and marketed a very difficult property with enthusiasm! There was a lot of interest in the property and Alex spent many hours showing potential buyers around.
I met him only once, but he kept me up to date through e mails and phone calls.
Through no fault of Alex, the initial sale fell through at the last minute. He immediately contacted people who had previously shown an interest, and he found a buyer very quickly without the house having to be advertised again.
I cannot thank Alex enough for the way in which he handled the sale, and would happily recommend him to people looking for services from him.

GoogleWhen I was trying to move from London to Cheltenham in times of covid, I was offered much needed support and advice from Marie Louise at Kingsley Evans. So, when I then decided to down size, I had no hesitation in using Kingsley Evans again. Marie Louise made the whole process as ‘good’ as house moving can be and always came with solutions rather than the problems. I was also fortunate in that the whole team were pro active in finding a suitable property for me to buy and Sue Healey was able to secure the house that I am now happily living in. Whenever I called the office, the phone was answered promptly and whoever answered was obviously briefed from their team meetings and had some knowledge of who I was and the properties I was selling and buying. Post sales, the support continues with excellent trade recommends from Sue. For all of these reasons, I would encourage anyone looking at buying/selling in Cheltenham to go to Kingsley Evans, the moving process is very tricky to say the least and their high level of support and expertise is so important.

I am astonished to read this review, it really does endorse why it is so very wrong for people to be able to leave negative reviews for everyone to read with such a distorted version of what happened. Firstly, it is not representative of the facts and secondly, it's devoid of mentioning the warm exchange we had with your wife about your plans, other suggestions of suitable properties that we could offer you and what advice and support we could give you for builders and external contractors, should you need a programme of help. Not at all an act of an Agent 'that can't be bothered', as you allude.
I'd like to offer some context to this conversation and explain why the review was somewhat startling especially as you have not taken our calls. Like many other Agencies, we work until 2pm on a Saturday, these are shorter weekend hours with less staff than our normal force, not uncommon practise for any business. During the week we work 8.30am until 6pm and we will always offer 'out of hours' viewings, which includes Saturdays if necessary. As explained to your wife on the phone, we are committed with other clients from 2pm on that Saturday and as such we asked if your viewings could be earlier in the day, this was to ensure they all ran in sequence and we could avoid diary clashes as were already committed to the same time at a couple of your chosen properties. This was as per our vendor’s requests. You gave us a limited window of your availability and despite a phone call to explain the challenges we had that day, which you didn’t take, we had to email you to ask if you could do earlier, or another day to suit you. As your reply only stated your disappointed, to avoid this and any frustrations for you, within 12 hours you had an email to say a resolve had been found and we could accommodate the hours you wanted after a reorganisation of diaries. However, you didn’t want that solution and failed to take two of the calls that we made to A, to explain why we had some challenges and that we would fulfill your viewing list at your chosen times and B, a later call, having seen your negative review (which such deflation) a chance to discuss how we could press forward in the most helpful way. All followed up with an email, yet again, to explain our position and ask if you could kindly take the review down.
To write a review with such a negative connotation is not only unjust and damming, but it is not representative of the positive exchange we had and not a transparent depiction of the situation. Your comments are not reflective of the service we always strive to offer and it’s such a shame that Google permits such reviews, when the purpose of them should be to provide an assessment that is based on fair actualities and not because someone has taken umbrage to being asked to view at an earlier time.
