Efficient, well informed and organised

The team in Cheltenham were nothing but efficient and well informed throughout the last 4 months, while I was selling a property with their support. I was impressed by their highly organised and systematic approach, which cannot be matched by smaller companies without equivalent process and systems. Furniture deliveries when you live…

Furniture deliveries when you live abroad can be more stressful than normal - especially because you cannot be there to receive them. Luckily for me, Brianna, Karina and Molly went out of their way to ensure that the deliveries made it safely into the property. I cannot thank them enough for being my eyes and ears and door openers. I was selling my family home under Probate, had never bought or sold a house before and what was already a stressful time became even more so when my partner and I became one of those very unlucky people who couldn't seem to move house for love nor money (None of this was the fault of Andrews - we had terrible luck with both ends of the chain at various points) Nevertheless, Andrews were with us every step of the way and every member of the team was always on hand to answer queries , take viewings and provide prompt feedback. (Honourable mention to Shannon who did most of the viewings and even went so far as to text me to let me know when they were over and I could return home!) I'd like to take a moment to give Holly a special shout out - she was our case handler and she was so unbelievably helpful. She was amazing at liasing with the other agents and solicitors in the chain and the second she found out anything she was on the phone to me and would always offer advice when asked. She was always incredibly personable and lovely to talk to and very reassuring when things got particularly stressful. Holly would always go above and beyond to get our sale and purchase over the line - at one point she was even doing other agents in the chains job for them. I have already recommended Andrews to a couple of friends who are looking to sell and will continue to do so after my experience with them; if I ever decide to sell again, Andrews will be the first people I call!

Don't use for shared ownership selling

Instructed Andrews Cheltenham to sell my property in summer 2021 after falling for the sales pitch of shared ownership selling experience. Karl was fantastic and shared all paperwork quickly with shared ownership partner. However due to delays caused by cook taylor Woodhouse (Andrews recommended solicitors) and the shared ownership partner we remarketed in summer 2022 and yes new offers came in quickly, I cant fault Andrews for that. However on acceptance of an offer amd sadly Karl moving on, Andrews did not liaise with shared ownership partner as they had done 1st time, didnt send AIP and validated offer documents (which as seller i dont see). This caused 6 months of Andrews chasing my solicitor who wasn't confirmed to shared ownership partner who still assumed we were on 1st buyer and so ignored correspondence. As shared ownership property this delay led to 4 RICs survey valuations (by Allied Surveyors, they are great) being required in order to complete at over £200 a time. Staff assigned to my sale moved on, often not appraised of this (or the buyer), with one replacement giving me the buyers number directly to liaise. We did this between ourselves and progressed to completion within a couple of months when in direct contact and not with Andrews. Please avoid if selling Shared ownership, or request to be copied in on everything that's sent and don't believe without proof that correct correspondence has been shared with the right parties.
