I think you can read the rest of reviews here as well - Charlotte and the team have been excellent throughout, in my particular case what started out as a ‘simple’ chain became far more complicated and difficult. I would definitely recommend William H Brown South and I’d also just like to thank Charlotte in particular for her kindness, patience, hard work and the many many calls to get this one over the line!

Purchasing property through William. H Brown I feel so at ease, because of the service I was given. They were very polite, helpful and understanding. I contacted the office to arrange a viewing of a property, the customer care I received make me fill comfortable. During the process of the property transit, I was not getting any information from other sources. But, William. H Brown were the only people, especially Charlotte, always on the phone, informing the progress of the situation, who I give a lot of credit to. I recently bought my flat through William H Brown and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the first viewing to completion, everyone was friendly, professional and easy to deal with. Archie showed us around the flat and was absolutely lovely. He gave us plenty of time to look around, never rushed us, and was happy to answer any questions we had. He made the viewing feel relaxed and enjoyable. Charlotte and her team were brilliant throughout the whole process. I am LPoA for my Nan and had to put her house on the market, I first spoke to Archie who was very helpful and clear about how the process starts and how the company could help me. Mason came to the house for the valuation, and for the paperwork and again was very clear on what was happening and how everything worked as I had never done anything like this before. Charlotte was also always very friendly on the phone, and although we've had to put the sale on hold for personal reasons, everyone has responded to this very professionally. You can always get hold of someone in the office, and when you have to leave a message someone always responds. I am thoroughly impressed with the work done by the Chelmsford South sales team thus far, and will be returning to them in the future when the sale of the house needs to happen! :)

This was our first move so to be honest I didn’t know what an estate agent did. I thought a couple of photos and await the phone to ring. I was wrong. From the start Archie was excellent at getting people through the door to view the property. He could let people in but I chose to show people around. We did have a buyer pull out but Archie and the team worked hard to get us more viewings. After 6 weeks on the market we accepted an offer for the second time and that one has taken us through to completion. Once an offer was accepted Charlotte took over to do a lot of chasing to keep the wheels moving. Keeping contact with the buyer to make sure they are on top of their paperwork and also chasing solicitors to kick them into gear… and boy did one solicitor in the chain need someone hounding them. They are definitely worth the money and earned it. Thanks for all your help. :)

I was the winning bidder for the…

I was the winning bidder for the property and, following the auction which ibs iamsold I was taking steps to arrange the required mortgage documentation and obtain my Agreement in Principle (AIP). There was initially some delay because I later became aware that the relevant person was away on holiday. Importantly, the auctioneer instructed me by telephone to wait until I had obtained my AIP before paying the Reservation Fee. I relied on this instruction and understood that I was following the process as advised by the auctioneer. At no point was I informed that my winning bid had been cancelled and was sold .I only became aware of this when I followed up with the agent yesterday and was told that the property had already been offered to the second bidder. I am therefore concerned that the property was offered to another bidder without giving me any prior notice or opportunity to proceed, particularly when I had been following the auctioneer’s specific instruction regarding the Reservation Fee. I acted in good faith throughout the process and relied on the information and instructions provided to me by the auctioneer. I did not withdraw my bid or indicate that I was unwilling or unable to proceed. I feel really frustrated about this , no proper communication.

Had a great experience with selling our property with William H Brown estate agents (Chelmsford South) office. From the initial valuation with Mason to the ongoing sale progression with Charlotte the branch manager. Charlotte, always returned calls and was very proactive with the solicitors trying to get the deal over the line. She was really supportive and an absolute pleasure to deal with. A real people person. When Charlotte was not in the office and I spoke to Archie he always passed my number on and Charlotte called me back.
