We have just bought our first house through William H Brown. It was a lengthy process with parts of it leaving us unsure on what was next and if the sale will go through or not. However, thankfully we had one of their sales team, Megan, as our main contact who supported us through the whole process and assisted us when we needed it. Even though the sale has now completed she is still assisting us with enquires which we didn't know we needed to know before we collected the keys. Although she was appointed to sell the property we did not feel pressured into the sale, she assisted with reasonable negotiations and my partner and I are very happy with the service we recieved.

I had a fantastic experience with William H Brown and would definitely recommend them to anyone I know. This was the 4th time I've bought and sold houses and easily the best experience I've had. They appointed a sales progressor who was amazing and kept me constantly updated. Her experience to foresee issues saved us weeks if not months. She knew exactly when things weren't quite going to plan with the solicitors and remedied them. All the staff have been incredibly helpful and polite. If I phoned and someone wasn't available they always called me back promptly. All round great customer service.

Worst letting agency I have dealt with!! Absolutely recommend to avoid them! I recently rented as a private tenant. Since day one we had issues within the condition of the property (absolutely filthy, no cleaning have been made and presence of dump and mound) and they have been unhelpful, rude, not answering at our phone calls putting on hold for so long. Worst moment was when I finally finished the contract and found another house, they asked to leave my full deposit for expenses without sending the correct invoices of what these expenses referred to, considering I left the house better way I found it! Also, since I rented with them I am disturbed by cold calls almost everyday , I think they sold my details to other parties for surveys. Please avoid them!

Don't trust William H Brown

We asked William H Brown to sell our house & expected them to get us the best possible price. Big mistake!! Our house needed work & they work off a fixed fee. Result being William H Brown only referring builders with low ball offers & NOT passing on details of genuine home buyers that would pay more but might have a chain! We feel totally bullied by this company & now that I bring it up with people in conversation no one has a good word to say about them. My advice, never use them & be wary of fixed fees. Highly questionable business practices.

Rented as a private tenant through them recently. Very stressful experience. Rude, insincere, unhelpful, at times incompetent, aggressive sales tactics etc. Given incorrect guarantor salary quota initially. Lack of communication if any hold ups occurred. Paid fees for 'admin', then expected to chase up companies ourselves regarding salary confirmation. Left us in the end with 24 hours to pack our things and move out of our old property. Been a nightmare to be honest. Would definitely not recommend.

Booked a viewing, estate agent turned up without keys after waiting for them to arrive at the property. Phoned 3 times to arrange the next day but received no return call. Went to another agent advertising same property who informed me that it had been viewed and taken that morning! Requested viewings for other properties from this company and they have not responded. Very unprofessional and frustrating, save yourself a lot of trouble and use another agent.
