I rented a house through the Chelmsford branch for 12 years, all I can say is the Chelmsford branch, Olivia and Tyrone but especially Olivia have been wonderful, they are a pure credit to the company, I had issues with the length of time to get my deposit back. Nearly a month, but that’s the countrywide part of the group and not these two in Branch.

Couldn't recommend the team more! Dean was superb in handling our case from day one and often went out of his way and kept us in the loop with everything that was going on. I really cannot say enough good things about my experience with Abbotts Chelmsford. I used them due to another local Estate Agent being seemingly incapable of processing the sale of my house. My experience with Abbotts was completely different. Although a challenging sale to say the least, Lianna Franklin persisted in chasing Solicitors and keeping me updated throughout the whole process. I had every faith in Lianna and knew she understood the urgency of the sale, and she honestly made a stressful time much more tolerable. We brought a bungalow from a seller using Abbott’s at the beginning of the year. Tim @ Kings Lynn branch truly went above & beyond for us. He attended extra viewings, even on his Saturday day offs. He kept us updated as to progress. But above all else he was in constant contact with the seller & their solicitor, pushing them along to get the sale through in the timeframe we needed. He made endless phone calls, got involved in paperwork where he had no obligation to & was always on the end of the phone when we needed him. Would recommend Tim to anyone. I was consulted by Gary Jenkins and Sophie for buying out first ever home in UK- Today is the key handover. They were extremely helpful throughout the process. I sent them numerous amount of email quering this and that; they gave reply to my emails with answers everytime without failure. They gave us a warm welcome from the beginning and later when we changed our home design according to the limited budget, we were consulted by others. Even after that Gary and Sophie kept helping us with general queries- as it was hard to get to our original team. Gary and Sophie also helped us to choose our home within our budget and Sophie also very kindly pulled out some renovated house options, if we were interested. However, finally we are getting our home now and I wish them all the success in life.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. They prioritised sending the right person round rather than the number of people they sent round. Then, after we sold they were very helpful in the conveyancing process. They have a specific department for that who was able to explain things when I was unsure and to liaise with solicitors and the other agents. When problems arose they were key in resolving it and finding the right solution. While we worked mainly with Joanna from Thorpe Bay we also had a lot of help from Amy on the after sale. They have also continued to support us after the sale.

I requested to rent a property and Abbotts have been one of the few companies that will offer help (I’m a full time student). I have only ever lived with my family or in university accommodation, but Joe and Chloe were so helpful and were willing to sit down with me and go through the documents so I knew what it meant. Knock, knock. Who's There? ...No-one!

I can't truly rate the service because I've had none! I've tried for over a week to get some information on a property listed in their Stowemarket branch. I've left messages, I've emailed, I've used the chatbox, the contact form and made 4 phone calls, which no one answered or responds to the recorded messages I've left. I phoned a bigger branch who told me they would contact the branch and get them to call me....nothing. Not a peep. I started this a week ago, because I'm in Suffolk at the weekend and wanted to arrange a viewing. I've had to give up and make other plans. There is clearly something wrong with their communications dept. If they have one!?!
