I recently sold a house with Maurice Kilbride Ltd (Jun 2025) and am impressed by their professional handling throughout the entire process. Achieving a targeted sale price for me was another thumbs up to the sales team! The solicitor they recommended was very efficient and reassuring. During the sale, I needed to go abroad, but the sale was carried on and managed by MK seamlessly. They are reliable and super supportive. I definitely recommend Maurice Kilbride Ltd for house sales and purchases, and will not hesitate to use them again for future house buying and selling. Maurice Kilbride was actually my sellers estate agent, but I was so happy with the service we received on our end. Communication was always prompt and consistent, always kept me well informed on progress and made sure he knew where everything was up to. Also when the process became quite stressful- for reasons not related to him- he was so so kind to me, reassuring and kept me sane! Also special thanks to Joe who started off the process for us. If you are reading this debating on which estate agent to use, there is no need to look any further! We turned to Maurice Kilbride after using a well known national company, and we are so pleased that we did. From the outset we realised that the offering this independent agency provided exceeded our expectations. The marketing of our property was excellent, and when we obtained a buyer, MK liaised and negotiated with the agent of the property we wanted to purchase, agreeing a sale price we were very happy with and one we were unlikely to obtain had we negotiated ourselves. We were well looked after throughout the conveyancing process. It’s a stressful time and they received more calls from me than was necessary, however nothing was too much trouble and they looked after me and my family throughout. As a result we are now in our dream house which I firmly believe wouldn’t have happened without Maurice, Joe and Patrick. Thank you very much for all you have done - we are so grateful to you all. Very professional service from an independent Estate Agent who are passionate about their work. The valuation was carefully considered to achieve a very quick sale. As a family we have always worked with privately run businesses rather than corporate. We feel this choice often gives better results due to the personalised approach and caring nature of local businesses and Maurice Kilbride certainly proved this theory right and more. We are due to emigrate and the sale of our house is time sensitive. This added an awful amount of pressure during an already hard period of time. Maurice Kilbride was always there to reassure us and remained our rock during the process. Without their support I do feel the sale of our house would have been much harder. Overall, the service was extremely high, they had a caring approach and always had our interests at heart. I would definitely use them again.

Having initially considered that the "on-line estate agent" might be the way to go in the 21st centuary, I was tipped off by a close friend about Maurice Kilbride estate agents in Cheadle. As such I did a little due dilligence, which of course involved an invite to Maurice himself to come around to my property and carry out an appraisal. Now having been in the estate agency business for a couple of years myself "many moons ago", I do feel somewhat qualified to speak on the subject, (albeit without much knowledge of the latest trends and practices). As such I can say without reservation that Maurice Kilbride Estates is undoubtably the most professional, reliable and straightforward that I have ever come across (or worked for). Their attentiveness to detail and accuracy is truly second to none and all carried out with an incredible level of genuine friendliness that nowadays is very hard to find. I cannot recommend Patrick and the team highly enough. We began our tenancy in 2019 and spent 3 wonderful years in one of their properties. We had one or two issues in those 3 years and the team at Maurice Kilbride would always go above and beyond to help us. One issue in particular was when the boiler packed in 3 days before Christmas! Patrick managed to get this sorted within a couple of hours. Most estate agents I have come across would have left us to freeze 😂 Thanks again guys, it’s been a real pleasure and best of luck for the future.

I had rented out my property for 10 years through Maurice Kilbride and sold recently through them also. Both Maurice and Joe were helpful and supportive throughout the sales process, advising when any issues arose and sorting said issues out promptly, enabling the sale to complete in 12 weeks.
