Couldn't compare the service we recieved. Sally Hatcher was from the very start knowledgeable about the house and the neighbourhood surrounding that we went to view. They kept us in touch every step of the way and helped us with any Queries that we had during the process. We recently sold our house through Sally Hatcher Estates and we can thoroughly recommend them. The team from start to finish were professional and attentive. The marketing was clear and gave a good reflection of what we were selling. We were able to contact them directly and talk through any concerns. When we asked for an honest opinion we got one and felt supported through the house selling process. We have over the years had experience of using other Estate agents in the area, but Sally and her team were the best. I would recommend them to anyone.

GoogleWe are a french couple, this summer we were looking for a property to rent and we found one on Sally Estates agency. We were suspicious in the beginning because we were in France and we didn't know if it was a fake agency, property or anything else... After many and many conversations with the agent (which by the way is absolutely kind and prevenant, he totally understood our condition and our septicism),we also check sources online we finally found an agreement. They let us time to think about it and it was really nice. We moved in a couple of days ago and we are really happy. The apartment is lovely, so clean and warm. We recommend this agency for everybody. The only negative thing (for us as students) is that we are French and we don't have a British garant so we have to pay the entire year beforehand... If you want you have an another option, rent a garant. However everything was perfect.

GoogleStudents avoid. Get everything in writing. Made us pay the landlord's insurance. Didn't cut the grass all year. In their inspections over the course of the year they use these as a weapon when they try to take a huge chunk of your deposit at the end of the tenancy. We arrived on check in and the inventory check had already been done when we were promised a walk-through. They know the law very well and use that against you. We won almost all of the deposit from the dispute back after they had cleaners clean the entire house despite what the check-out said. I'm not sure how they're getting on after the tenants fee act from June 1st banning all the fees they charge, but overall this is not a reputable agency from my experience. Students avoid.

My boyfriend and I move into a lovely house with Sally Hatcher Estates. We had a very stressful experience relocating from one country to the next. Prior to finding this house we were let down very badly by a different Estate Agent, due to some red tape about a landlord reference. We are good tenants and have never missed a rent payment in our lives. Sally Hatcher respected this and gave us a very personable service- something that is really lacking in the Real Estate industry. Even after the tenancy had been finalised, they continued to be helpful in taking deliveries for us and allowing a second (more detailed) viewing. They are good people who totally understand the stress involved in moving and genuinely care about the tenants.

GoogleCome across as a very shady agency looking to exploit students and their lack of experience. For example, trying to charge £120 for a blocked sink despite us trying to solve it ourselves with sink unblocker and the plumbers saying that the poorly installed pipes made it more susceptible to blockage. One of our showers has been unusable for 7 months and they didn’t fix or compensate us for it. One of our tenants has even been living in a mould-encrusted room for the majority of her tenancy.

Google*I can only speak for my own experience* The student house I rented from them for my final year was lovely, it was well kept, well insulated and well looked after by the landlord. Throughout the whole year me and my housemates had barely any issues with the house. My issues lie with Sally Hatcher, not the house itself; of which I had no problems with" However, I do have issues with Sally Hatcher. By the end of the tenancy we started to have major issues, and have only just resolved the matter (in October!). They had already messed up our deposit halfway through the year, and conclusively had to throw the full deposit under one name (their own administrative error). As well as this, they charged an extortionate amount from our deposit in the first place - nearly £500 in total (a completely unfair amount). The situation is more dense than this, but all I can advise is; if you want an Estate Agents that will cheat you of your deposit, that has THE worst administration and THE worst communication with their tenants - then Sally Hatcher is the best by far! If you would like more details on my experience with them, feel free to drop me an email. I have emails and documents to prove how poor they have acted on behalf of my and my fellow housemates

Sally really knows her stuff and is passionate about her business. I have run the Student Lettings Department at Caxtons in Canterbury for over 20 years and have known Sally all this time. I can honestly say that her conduct, integrity and professionalism are beyond reproach. I wouldn't ordinarily promote a rival business but if you were looking for an agent you can trust (other than Caxton of course), then look no further.
