The worst agent I have ever had to deal with. I expressed an interest in viewing a property by message and e-mail, not one return phone call and not one return message. Would I use them for the sale of my property - most certainly not!

The worst experience ever! We had the agent come to value our property and was told he would do the viewings and would advise better photos to help sell the property which we agreed to. The first viewing was done by a totally unprofessional person.. her first words to the client were, I was wondering where the parking was? Who says that to someone you are supposedly trying to sell the house to. She then said well I’ve not been here before. The office is just 5 minutes from the property surely you would get there 5 minutes earlier and see what you are trying to sell and have the facts that it’s a town house and doesn’t have parking but you can get residential permits. I wish I had left then as things didn’t get better. No one answers the phone, I had to do a viewing myself as they didn’t have enough staff which meant driving two hours there and back as we don’t live there. Then the person who said would do the viewings left the company! Obviously knew he wouldn’t be able to do the viewings as we were told. We have now instructed a professional company and left GTH but now being hounded to pay for photos we were told to get despite the extremely poor service giving us no option but to leave. Definitely would not recommend the Taunton office.

GoogleGTH in the persons of Geraldine White and Fiona Laramy could not have been more helpful. They kept us well informed. They accompanied all viewers. While encouraging us they did not bully us but allowed us to make the decisions. They got all necessary information about potential buyers which made it easier to choose. They did a good job. Thanks.

GoogleGTH have been very professional and helpful throughout the marketing and sale of our property. Geraldine, Deb and James at the Chard Office have been brilliant. They have kept us regularly informed, even when the news was not always what you wanted to hear! So nice not to have to keep ringing to find out what is going on during a very stressful time. This is not the first house we have bought or sold through GTH, we will definitely go back to them in the future when we get itchy feet again, but that won't be anytime soon as its going to take me 10 years to unpack all the boxes!

I would give 0 stars if I could, Absolutely abysmal maintenance company, Came home after doing a 12hr night shift to find a drainage company digging a hole to put in a drainage tank. Not a letter, email or phone call to inform us this was happening. yet they expect you to do everything they ask for. If your landlord goes over to them then just move out, it would be the easier option.

GoogleWe would have given 5 stars for their efficiency, however, we were not always informed about viewings while we were away. This was due to a glitch in their texting system, apparently. Otherwise we have no complaints on their friendly and helpful service, and our house is now progressing though the process of being subject to contract.

The bad experience I my have renting for them ..I stay for over 6weeks to fix the shower wich wass broken in my first moving there, since now and they don't care about ..I call maintenance them make me redirected for bridgwater management, and management say me to wait to call me back maintenance because is not their business to repair the shower ...bridgwater Gth agency..

I was only expecting the minimum level of service as a buyer but was woefully optimistic there. "Spoke to the vendor" meant an email had been sent every couple of weeks asking vaguely for an update. Details of sale had not been verified with land registry, could have just asked vendor for a copy. So it took 7 months, a lot of personal effort and £4k of costs on my part before owners announced the property wasn't actually for sale. GTH explanation was that estate agent details should in no way be considered as fact.

Initially Tom from their Burnham On Sea Branch when taking our home on with them was kind, friendly and professional. We agreed to go ahead with them and sincerely believed in our heart of hearts had explained our circumstances. Let's leave it that there was a definitive breakdown in communication at that BUT without going into explicit, specific detail do feel they let us down. We therefore could only appraise this company as "one star". Caution would be advised when considering potential dealings with GTH Burnham On Sea Branch
