Received wonderful service from the team at GTH, Chard. From the moment James came to see us we knew we were in safe hands. A realistic valuation led to plenty of viewings (even in a very hard market) and a relatively quick sale. I would not use any other agent. They were outstanding.

We’ve had a superb service from Geraldine and the team. From the great photos that Fiona took combined with the brochure, to the viewings that led to a offer being made promptly. As with most house sales, there have been a couple of testing moments but the GTH team have been excellent and crucial in helping us resolve them. Their contacts in other local industries have proved vital in ensuring things were able to happen quickly as well. Having had to deal with Estate Agents several times over the last few years, the conclusion being an utter condemnation of the quagmire they create with every step in what was/is an already stressful situation. So GTH started our relationship against a no win scenario and went from strength to strength. Honesty, straight to the point, do what they say and mostly going far beyond in dealing with our purchase that was unconnected to our sale to help us along. Unravelling the minefield and resolving impossible issues. They were amazing, trustworthy and earned every penny. All were notable - a fantastic team under the outstanding leadership of Jonathan - not ignoring Geraldine, a font of all local knowledge, and Debbie - the glue that brought it all together. I very rarely sing the praises of estate agents but this time I felt I should take a moment to do so. My partner Anthony and I have purchased our current property through tgh a week before Christmas and the service and hellp we received from James and his team was second to none from the very beginning and I mean the very beginning! Considering that they do not conduct viewings on Saturday afternoons after 1pm, they managed to book one for us at 1.30 due to the fact that we were driving from Kent on that day and had other viewings booked. We made it for 1.30 (our last viewing that day!) and fell in love with the house. First thing on Monday morning, before the offices were even open, I rang to secure my offer and my call was answered by someone of their maintenance team. My message was taken down in writing and passed on to the agents at 9.00. That, alone is impressive! Anyway, long story short, everything went smoothly from then on but I have to say that everyone in the office was always aware of any development regarding my purchase. The communication between ALL the employees is superb and their speed of response incredible. They went above and beyond the call of duty, especially James who did a fantastic job dealing with solicitors and council.James knows Chard very well and can be trusted a 100% to put your mind at rest about local issues. Also something important when buying a house is the accuracy of the details on the brochure and the true likeness of the description. In our case, with our purchase, the house exceeded all our expectations and we moved into a 15 yr old house which looked like it had been built this year! How many estate agents have you dealt with that leave a bottle of Prosecco in your new kitchen and a letter of welcome and other goodies? If we ever move again, GTH will be the only agent we will deal with. They have restored my faith in estate agents. If only I could say the same about solicitors!

I unreservedly recommend GTH Chard for the sale of your property. We have received outstanding support, advice and service from them throughout the sale process. James, Geraldine and Fiona form a brilliant team. In addition to being very approachable, friendly and down to earth in their manner, they are exceptionally proactive and hardworking, they always have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, they ooze experience and have extensive knowledge of the local area. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Moreover, reassuringly, when there is a problem, the office phone is always answered during working hours!
