GoogleOur experience with Sparkes Ellison has been superb. Everyone we have dealt with has been extremely professional, friendly and attentive. It wasn't always a smooth process once solicitors were involved but you always felt Sparkes Ellison were working hard for you.
In the office, George, Frazier and Victoria were particularly helpful and patient with our various needs and questions! It makes such a difference to have that personal touch. And, of course, Adam was superb at the start when valuing the house and talking us through the process.
But a special mention goes to Amanda who deals with sales progression. She worked so hard on our behalf right till the end. We couldn't have made it without her. So, all in all, I can't recommend Sparkes Ellison enough. Their service is second to none. Thank you to all the team.

GoogleThink carefully before renting through this agency
We rented through this agency for 10 years across two properties, always paid on time and looked after the homes. Sadly, the end of our tenancy has been a very stressful experience.
Over 12 days after moving out, we still haven't had our deposit back. We've repeatedly been told the landlord is "considering their options", but we've been given no clear figures or real evidence for any deductions. Communication has been vague, and it feels like we're being left waiting while they hold on to our money.
We're fair people and happy to pay for genuine damage, but this process has felt unreasonable and one-sided. If you're renting through them, I'd strongly recommend keeping detailed photos, videos and records throughout your tenancy and at check-out, which may sound obvious but we failed to do so and paying the price, disappointing a local agent treats local families this way, especially in these times with cost of living issues.
