I was very happy with Cardigan Bay Properties. I was with them for a long time, as my house proved a little difficult to sell. I got to know the team over that time and always found responsive, helpful and friendly. My house sold in the end and I was glad I stayed with CBP throughout the journey. I felt supported by Tania and the team and I felt they were fair and straightforward in their negotiations. I would definitely recommend Cardigan Bay Properties to anyone who wants to sell their home, even if it is a house that is not the easiest to sell as mine was.

Such a refreshing estate agents! These guys were the opposite of all the worst tropes that one can think of about estate agents. Thoughtful, supportive, considerate and, most importantly, ensured that my house sale went through efficiently. Their portal system to keep you updated on the progress of the sale is excellent and Emma at Prime Progression was a game changer. Why don't all estate agents do this!! Helpful, responsive and supportive. I thought that selling a property in west Wales may be less straightforward than where I am based in south-east Wales. The combination of Cardigan Bay and the solicitor (Morgan & Richardson, Cardigan) proved me wrong - which is really pleasing. Emma at Prime Progression was a nice touch - it’s good to know where you are (and that you’re not holding up an eager chain) As with any tradesperson, I find that the test of the ‘pudding’ is ‘would you recommend them to a friend?’. Why wouldn’t I?

In two words Great Service. Such a contrast to the first estate agentwe employed and sacked 6 weeks later. Cardigan Bay Properties run by Helen and Tania is superb. Nothing was to much trouble. From the very first meeting where they came prepared having researched property values and the market place. We met and worked with Helen who kept us informed at every stage in a tricky market. When we needed advice they were happy to give an honest and considered response. If we ever need to sell again we will definitely go to Cardigan Bay Properties. I cannot praise this company more highly. Tania and Helen were excellent, motivated, and integrity shone through from my first contact with them. Tania's photographs were excellent and the video she made beats anything I've seen with other estate agents, who frequently just edit their photos with bad music in the background; If I've seen photos, why would I want to see them again as a bad video! My cottage was sold in 12 days, not the legal stuff, but super buyers and everything went smoothly from there. Emma Alben from Prime Progression, who they appoint to help you move through the process, was also excellent. Her follow through, updating me as the buyers and I moved forward with the various paperwork needed with a house sale worked so well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. As a bonus I was presented with a memory stick with all the photos and the video of my cottage in Pembrokeshire, which I treasure.

As a woman in business, I have always valued professionalism, fairness, and flexibility, especially when dealing with other women in business. Unfortunately, my experience with this estate agent was anything but that. From the outset, it was clear they were not prepared to maintain the level of professionalism expected in a property transaction. Rather than work with understanding and adaptability, they demonstrated a rigid, biased attitude that was both unprofessional and disheartening. What stood out most was their preference to lose a sale rather than deal with someone they seemingly found too challenging to accommodate. Instead of demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills, they chose to disengage, which raises questions about their ability to handle complex situations or clients with higher expectations. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism, especially from women who should understand the importance of being unbiased and adaptable in business. In a competitive market, I would have expected more, but sadly, this agency fell far short of the mark. I would strongly advise potential clients to seek an estate agent that values professionalism and is capable of handling their needs with care and respect.
