The most unprofessional property agents ever! They are rubbish at pretty much everything they do. No help from them at all and the amount of distress and anxiety they cause is shocking. They don't follow or instruct their landlords on how to maintain septic tanks and they are in breach of the general binding rules set out for proper septic tank care or the safe disposal of septic waste. How they sleep at night is beyond me. I've been served a section 21 twice within 6 months because they are rubbish and have intentionally sabotaged us with a bad reference, so we can't move anyway. What a joke!! They are also professional liars and experts in illegal evictions.

While we were happy with the actual sale of our property the rest of our experience selling with Lane & Browns was entirely negative. We were lied to on multiple occasions which left us feeling increasingly frustrated. We received virtually no communication in the months between accepting our offer and exchanging contracts, this lack of communication and unprofessionalism also extended to other parties within the chain and almost led our chain collapsing at the last minute (and indeed this would have happened if we had waited for Lane & Browns to provide us with the relevant information). Our complaint was not taken seriously & not responded to until we chased it up, at which point we received a letter which dismissed our concerns, dated 8 days previously, reaffirming their poor communication. Would not recommend at all.

As new landlords it is very difficult to choose the correct agent that you can trust but since we have put them in charge of our property we had no issues. Sam, Zoe and Debbie are fantastic with extensive knowledge of the market. They have found us tenants within days. They have instructed and carried out all of the necessary work like epc, electrical safety and gas safety on our behalf so we did not have to think of anything but getting our property ready for our new tenants. Staff abused their parking rights of an open car park and wasted disabled bays. I went into the office and politely asked them to move their car so others could park there and was greeted with an attitude. When I went back to my car it was moved within the same disabled bay when there were normal parking bays available next to it.
