Beware Landlords. I think they have got to big to care for landlords, I even had 1 tenant damage my property, then they gave the deposit back and rehomed them in one of their other properties, good luck to that landlord now...communication gets missed, no one responds, they don't care as long as they get the money. Tenants calling me as they have not got back to them. contractors they use also be very careful, some are terrible. im now moving my properties away from them. still haven't rectified the damage there last tenant left. they just ignore you. still asking for my door to be replaced and totally ignored, DO NOT USE THESE Another update, since the new management have taken over , all the the little issues that should have been fixed were not even started, also 1 of the jobs the contractor stuck a towel over a hole instead of fixing it. I have more to update soon

If you want a company to waste your time and steal money off you then look no further. I made an offer, it was accepted. Then less than a week before I was to take the flat the landlord suddenly pulled out, and Oakwood decided to steal the holding deposit from me with no good reason.

Had nothing but issues Since moving into my flat with Oakwood in 2019. I was lied to about Multiple things before moving in. Within a week of moving In the Mice had made their first appearance, the damp and mould had started coming through the fresh paint they must have done to cover it up and lots of plug sockets were not working. The basement was full of rubbish that Oakwood had already been ordered to clear by Thanet council. Took over a year to get any of the problems sorted Maybe my fault partly for not checking for all these things, but I WAS NOT made aware of any issues. I was then told it would be down to me to get(pay for) a de humidifier and i would need to keep my heating on constant. I had to battle them to help with the costs of doing so. If you have to deal with Oakwood i wish you good luck, Avoid Nikki like the plague, she will not help if pushed she will only fight back and pass blame for any issues.

Oakwood, have from start to finish been outstanding in their understanding of the situation, Maddie dealing with the search and negotiations between the landlord and I, and Amy dealing with the referencing.
