GoogleHouse viewings are often quite stressful and they involve many critical decisions, however I'd like to give a shout out to Gareth. He's a really knowledgeable and approachable person, he definitely knew the facts about each property he showed us and never spammed my inbox with any property that didn't match what we were after.
We ended up buying a different property from another agent in the end, but it was nothing to do with anything he did wrong, and I'd certainly reach out again in the future.

GoogleAt first everything was fine I was not the perfect Customer by a long way however I am paying for a service
We had offers which I was told to take which I declined I held on and on and eventually got my asking price
Once sold it all felt a little pushy the week up to the moving day a lot of phone calls all needless about what time are you basically getting out the contract said 2pm
On the day some old Rubbish about logistics 🤫 actually wanted to know at 0930 what time we are leaving several other calls followed in the end I said I would drop the keys of when I had finished moving
At 1330 I took the keys to NEA on going into the shop I got greeted by a lady asking what do I want I said to drop keys
She said he is on a call and is it rental or sales I said Sales she snatched the keys of me with out even a thank you
Once they have your Money it seems they don’t care I have emailed Mark Peto which I still haven’t had a reply
I was warned about NEA but thought I would give them a chance

Dear Mr Webb,
Thank you for email & review. I have tried calling you to discuss but unfortunately you were unable to have a civil conversation and hung up. From what I could gather you had no issues with the service you had received from NEA from our first contact back in 2017. You have unsuccessfully worked with three other Caversham agents. As you may recall we marketed your home in 2022 and received numerous offers one of which you accepted. You then decided not to proceed with above asking price offer and withdrew your property from the market. A year later you came back to ask NEA to represent your house sale. I presume this was because you were happy with the service you were receiving! Again we worked hard and generated multiple offers and one that you accepted. Despite all the issues and hurdles that arose we came up with a plan and invested our time and experience to ensure they were resolved. You have been updated with feed back on the process all the way. The service you have received throughout has been very good and we progressed the sale to exchange in a swift period. At no point in all this period have you had any reason to complain and nor did you. We have been polite and respectful to you throughout the transaction even though the team have thought you to be rude and ungrateful.
In the week before completion but after exchange the buyers had asked if they could bring in a contractor to look at a few things. All we have done is ask you if this is possible. This was a simple request that was done in good faith. No one was being pushy and as you were aware the contractor could not make the time and the buyer decided to do it post completion.
We do call clients in advance of completion to discuss keys and to ensure we have a smooth transition on day of completion. There is nothing pushy or unusual about this. On the day of completion, just before 9.30am we called you to say congratulations on completing and to find out when you will be dropping keys off so we can advise the buyers and manage them. Around 12.30 you were called again to see if you were still running on time or delayed. I am sorry that they buyers had been calling you as well, but you had given them your number so, I’m sorry but we can’t be responsible for them contacting you.
We utterly refute that we snatched keys from you, if you recall you pulled your van up outside the office, the lady was in the process of leaving the office, unfortunately she had no idea who you were and what property the keys were for. As you were outside and the road is busy, she couldn’t hear you, so asked a number of times what property they were for. Your attitude and verbal abuse greatly upset her. You are more than welcome to call the office to speak to her and if you see fit apologise.
I fully appreciate you are paying a fee for a service. This we delivered and we went over and above without as much of a thank you from you in the entire process. Gratitude is a two way street.
We do however wish you and your family the best of luck in the future and should wish to continue our conversation we are hear to listen.

GoogleRented a property through them and was extremely disappointing.
Appliances that worked perfectly fine whilst we lived in the house started breaking as soon as the tenants moved in and they only ask us to send money to keep on repairing them without checking if the tenants were using things properly.
When we got the house back, there were so much intentional and unintentional wear and tear (which is somewhat understandable), but were never mentioned, also they somehow failed to notice a cat flap on a kitchen door that was so poorly installed it actually broke the door.
The house was supposedly 'deep cleaned by professionals' after checkout but did not look like it. Went over with a domestic hoover and there was so much dust and dirt it filled the hoover with just one room.
The garden was a complete mess with no upkeep, also never mentioned to us in any report throughout or during the checkout of the property.
Also extremely unresponsive, had to chase after them for response the whole time.
