I've just made a new Facebook account…

I've just made a new Facebook account up just to use on groups only. I don't want 50 groups I need to be in on my main Facbook, so it was better to have a new one. Well, no. My account got disabled until I give them my mobile phone number. Another big bullying company forcing me to give my personal deatisl (mobile phone number) to use their site.Big brother Facebook at its finest always trying to get personal details off you.I hate Facebook. Disgusting site to use.

I had asked for a review of a ‘friend’ using abusive language like ‘b..tard’ and ‘fu*k’ on my page. The reviewer found it complying with fb standards. Can some senior management who are not politically biased towards Modi and his coterie review the post.

Would give a no star score to this…

Would give a no star score to this horrendous site. Have been cooled off for 2 weeks for making a statement about benefit payments, but Facebook allow children who look like under 16s dancing round in bikinis and underwear. Site needs to be completely banned

One more one star review for this…

One more one star review for this terrible platform. Reported an add which is obviously a scam (even spamdetector confirmed) and..."We didn't remove your add because we don't think it is scam" :DI wasn't expecting anything from this platform, but this looks like that they knocked from the bottom of their reputation :D

My Facebook account was closed

On November 22, 2022, my Facebook account was closed. I filled out the form in your help center and submitted my credentials. I did not violate community standards on my account, you closed my account for no reason. This is my account that I have been using since 2009. I'm very sorry about this situation :( My username on my Facebook account that was closed is caferalparslann.bal Please open my account.

Zero protection

Disgusting no one you could speak to when your account is hacked. My account was hacked and even with two steps verification the hacker still managed to hack in and changed all my details. Facebook provide zero support in the situation. 16 years of photo collection gone. Don’t know why the hackers want them

FB are personal information harvesters

FB are personal information harvesters. I deliberately used a fake name and temp email just to save a mobile game app progress. They locked the account due to 'suspicious activity' 4 months later. I don't even log in 🤣. Now they want official ID and utility bills submitting to confirm my identity to unlock? Yeah, good luck. Share nothing with them!

SCAMMER!

SCAMMER! They will take your bank details when you pay the first subscription and never let you remove your subscription, making you pay monthly even if you don't want to. They told me its a bug and still took my money.

Don't take reports of the sale of…

Don't take reports of the sale of endangered animals seriously. I constantly report people advertising exotic animals for sale, and they just send an automatic response that it doesn't break their policies.People now put emojis for looking for new home instead of the words, and I think FB had bots looking at reports - if not, it's very poorly trained people.

This platform is worthless

This platform is worthless. You can not get help with anything for any size problem. They need an actual help center and or live chat feature. Never have I been so frustrated just trying to edit a name for a page. WORTHLESS

Bought something off Marketplace

Bought something off Marketplace, and sent some money, saying I would send the rest when I had a tracking ref.Item has now been deleted from MP, even though I had a conversation in progress? How can it be deleted?I was then blocked of messenger, and didn't receive the goods.

Facebook or Faceboo...

I signed up for Facebook's True Crime and houseplant admirers groups. I got busy posting perfectly innocuous replies to other group members. I then was sanctioned for a number of hours with no right to reply and no reasons given. I now face a one week censure for not complying the Company's rules and regulations. Again no redress from me...

Out of control Facebook. To many account hacks and unwarranted…

To many account hacks and unwarranted censorship. No ability in Facebook to exchange open dialog with “management”. Too many virus laden sites that lock up mobile devices. Freedom of open expression does not truly exist anymore. Also appears people are targeted for political and religious beliefs. NOT ENTERTAINING ANYMORE.

Absolute disgrace of a site

Absolute disgrace of a siteAbsolute disgrace of a site, meant to be social media, yet their algorithms limit your posts. Their community standards are nothing but censorship. They ban you with no means of asking why, just that it goes against those censorship standards. They constantly bombard you with suggestions, trying to force you to join things or like adverts. As it makes them money, the only purpose of this farce. People are getting wise to this so called crap media site, it will die a death soon enough.

Scam, abuse and Spam emporium

Continued executive distance, disinterest and greed for (any)traffic in recent years brings you the consequence of a social network that's all but a haven for scammers selling divorce/anatomic/vindictive etc *magic services by way of predatory, monetary fraud on all groups(vulnerable support, interest, hobby or professional) and pages.Unsecured cash loans traced back to apartments and individuals with private phone numbers and advertised domains, not sanctioned by most nations governments, a rise in now >2 year old manned but fake accounts that spearhead all the previously mentioned scams with ample risk of malware. Individual moderators cannot keep up so as to guarantee a safe environment anymore. It was difficult in the past, it's impossible in the present.Censorship and vast numbers of questionable 7 day - 30 day bans can't help but ensure that legitimate users do not impede or otherwise flag the activity of the afore mentioned rampant racketeering. Said bans contribute to an Antisocial Network with isolation from friends and family on questionable grounds. The official route of repeated reports of extreme behavior returns with automated feedback and automated subsequent reviews also, stating that these do not go against community standards. Reports of abusive private messages in graphic language on Messenger do NOT get reviewed at all.Written objections regardless of language are branded as "bullying" with subsequent silencing. An architecture built on hounding obscure key words out of context shift the balance from the legitimate user base to approved, years old phishing accounts. Extremist political parties often unable to secure physical headquarters elsewhere have been shown to rally and be at home here for years, there is vile racism, xenophobic and inflammatory rhetoric, wide spread misinformation with demonstrated results and dangerous escalation in the society of several countries. Experience suggests that the algorithms do NOT work in practice, for filter or moderation as also suggested by many unsuccessful/minimally successful lawsuits in the past and the environment is one of general harassment, hostility, fearful expression on account of silencing and shaming of the common man, in favor of violence, propaganda and endless abuse devoid of meritocracy or sensible restraint alike. Events and practices violate the right to *Protected Speech outlined in the constitution of several states, whereas *Unprotected Speech enjoys sympathy and protection by the algorithms, in the best case scenario. That *specific distinction appears to be overlooked on facebook in the official moderation architecture. Beyond that, it is hard to tell whether it extends further than unmanned mechanics.
