Frustrating Experience with Facebook Support

I’ve had ongoing issues with my Facebook account getting disabled for unclear “violations,” even though I haven’t posted anything problematic. There’s no real way to appeal, the “support” is mostly automated and unhelpful. Ads are everywhere, and bugs make the app crash frequently. Meta needs to improve its customer support and give users a clearer, more human way to resolve serious account issues.

Isn't it funny that Facebook says they don't track us off Facebook. All my settings are so they're not allowed to track me off Facebook. Yet, when I spent yesterday looking for SSD harddrives, and since yesterday all Facebook is doing is sending me ads for SSD hardrives on Facebook. This company needs a massive fine in the UK. Atop tracking me you disgusting company.

I have frequently changed passwords

I have frequently changed passwords, now blocked, Have been on FB for decades - was having computer problems, so easier just to change passwords frequently until resolved - no warning from FB on this being a problem, nor any sort of "waiting" time apparent before you can use FB again after changing password. This is unacceptable!

Facebook needs some new marketing.

I have Soo many good ideas that would make Facebook more money. Facebook is boring. Always has been. I might go on there for a minute 2x a week just to check on family and friends. Hopefully they have more entertaining things to do, & etc. soon..

Facebook is a widely-used social media platform that connects people around the world. Its user-friendly interface and extensive features make it easy to share updates, photos, and videos with friends and family. However, concerns about privacy and the spread of misinformation have been raised, making it essential for users to exercise caution. Overall, Facebook remains a powerful tool for staying connected, but users should be mindful of their online interactions.

Absolutely dreadful company

Absolutely dreadful company. Just avoid it at all costs. You will have to sell your soul to get a load of tripe in return. Never ever use it as a business tool as your account can be deleted with impunity.

Bans accounts on the slimmest of causes…

Bans accounts on the slimmest of causes with no real chance to appeal let alone explain yourself. Bans one side of a conversation and completely ignores the other side was just as "offensive" and should have been banned as well.

Zero Privacy

Facebook wants an overwhelming amount of personal info just to make an account. This is a horrible social media for anyone who wants internet safety; Facebook is a great way to get tracked, stalked, or have your info bought/stolen. Accounts are also easily suspended if you don't want to submit personal info, such as your appearance or address.

It's useless

It's useless. I've had several accounts hacked now and there's no way to contact any support. Facebook is actually useless at this point. Any links they give to help you "recover" your account straight up don't work. If you have had your account hacked, just make a new one and warn your friends.

FACEBOOK IS THE WORST

Facebook locked my account for unfriending and I have no access to marketplace for a very long time. Everything I do they keep restricting me which is terrible. There is no way to contact support to get help. I am very disappointed and will never recommend Facebook to anyone!

Facebook has censored my account twice…

Facebook has censored my account twice because I outwardly oppose their allowed format. It is sad that it openly allows SCAMS, SEX, RACIST POSTINGS, AND LEWDNESS ON ITS MEDIA OUTLET. Yet, positve material that MOTIVATES, EDUCATES, UPLIFTS, AND INSPIRES the mind, body and soul is censored.Zukerberg is a profiteer who benefits from a divisive pathway.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star

I wouldnt even give them 1 star. Absolute shambles of a multi million pound company. My account got hacked and disabled. There was no way of contacting them to resolve it. Tried filling the online form but it did not work. How can a company of this size not have a customer support number or email

No Support whatsoever

You cannot contact any human at meta. There is no email address, no phone number, no chat, nothing. If you have issues with ads, instagram or facebook, you are screwed.I will not spend a dime for ads anymore. If they think, providing customer service is optional, they are sorely mistaken.Ironically, this review is sent to info(at)facebook.com. Nobody is looking at those emails!! 😂

If you leave, they don't want you back

Closed my old account months ago. Decided to go back and they wouldn't let me because my new, unused account "doesn't follow [their] community standards on account integrity". Well okay. It used to be a good place to keep a photographic log of events with friends and family. But more recently it had become a place of ads and posts that aren't from people I follow. I wanted to use it for my business, but they won't allow that without a personal account. See you later, Facebook. I am gladly taking my advertising elsewhere. :)

My account with 2,000 friends was blocked due to bot reports; it can't be restored. I spent five years developing it and gathering friends from all over the world on the same topic, and now it's all gone.

It now feels increasingly cluttered with ads and irrelevant content. The app sometimes feels heavy and the notifications are overwhelming. Hopefully, in the future, the user experience will be more comfortable and focused on truly important interactions.
