⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent experience renting through John Francis Estate Agents in Carmarthen. The whole process was handled so smoothly and professionally from start to finish. A big thank you to Richard, Ruth and Martynas who were all absolutely brilliant throughout. They were patient, professional and always happy to help with any questions I had. Renting can sometimes feel stressful, but they made everything straightforward and kept me well informed at every stage. Their communication, organisation and customer service were outstanding, and it was clear they genuinely care about providing a great experience for their clients. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and they were always friendly, approachable and supportive. I would highly recommend John Francis in Carmarthen to anyone looking to rent a property. A fantastic team providing a truly professional service. Wonderful service from a great team. Special thanks to Amber and Dale for keeping me updated throughout the entire sales process and for their patience while waiting for what seemed an eternity for Grant of Probate to come through. If it wasn't for the delays with HMRC, we would have sold straightaway as John Francis identified a buyer for the property within two weeks of going on the market. Amber and Dale were always so prompt, knowledgeable and courteous in responding to my phone and email queries. Highly recommend them.

I want to start this review off by saying there should be an option for more than 5 stars because our experience with John Francis has truly been amazing. Myself and my partner moved to Pembrokeshire for a fresh start in august, unfortunately for us we had the worst experience with another letting agent who didn't care for us as tenants and also advertised a house with a severe mould and damp issue along with holes in the roof and ivy growing in the attic, contributing to the mould. After the painful, first time renting experience and terminating our contract early (after 3 months) we found the property we are currently in which is managed under John Francis. I was able to contact JF and get a viewing of the property fairly quickly after speaking with Ruth, she was very professional over the phone and guided me through the process, after meeting Ruth her presence was professional and she explained absolutely everything she needed about the property, she let me stay for as long as I needed, from what I saw I instantly fell in love with the property and saw that the landlord really knew what he was doing, but I needed to explain everything to my partner who wasn't able to make the viewing. Once I explained the property to him, I was able to book another viewing with Ruth and she kindly made herself available for this. We were thrilled to have found our new home and have the fresh start we hoped for. The holding deposit process was easy, Ruth's colleague Martynas was a huge help with the process as a whole, we were able to secure the property quickly and smoothly and when it came to actually putting the bond and our first months rent down we were able to communicate with Ruth and Martynas about a specific date we wanted over email efficiently, they had professional and responsive replies which we hadn't experienced with our previous letting agent. What I liked most about the process was that it was a face to face meeting to put the deposit down and collect the keys, Martynas explained everything he needed to in the best manner, again something we hadn't experienced before. Both Martynas and Ruth were there during the appointment which made me felt secure and comfortable and they both ensured that we were able to go through everything twice if we needed to. Once completed we got congratulated and also given a welcome box with a few treats and vouchers to spend on our new home, we were delighted and it added a great touch to our already exciting day. Martynas also sent all information I needed via email to ensure I had all the documents that were important on my side as well. What delighted me, was that Martynas and Ruth both explained how well thought out our new landlord created the apartments, they mentioned that our landlord wanted to meet us and go through some elements too, after the experience we had in our old property, we were thrilled to know he had an interest in us as tenants and that we could actually meet face to face. I still don't know the landlord that owns our old property. This felt like a breath of fresh air. Overall, our experience with John Francis has been smooth sailing and easy as well as professional and just insanely helpful. They have helped us effectively and also helped us get away from such unkind people, Ruth and Martynas are both amazing letting agents, we are very lucky to be tenants under their management and we look forward to creating memories in our new home, we are also positive that if we ever needed their attention on a matter regarding our new house, they would be there for us and for that we appreciate you both. For anyone looking to rent or buy, John Francis Carmarthen is the letting agent you want to go with.

Horrible experience with this agency. I wasn’t informed about the roof of my flat being faulty before renting . Clearly it had been an ongoing issue they just painted the flat and rented it out , which is not ethical. When it started raining there was multiple leaks and mould appearing in the entire flat. No matter how many times I asked for help or reported it , they remained silent and kept saying we are awaiting landlord’s response, as if as a letting agency they have absolutely no responsibility. Disappointed beyond words can describe.I suffered ,my health suffered and I wish no one goes through the same as I did . Not adding photos as they are disgusting but if anyone interested can email me I’ll send the photos of the leaks and moulds .
