Trustpilotpaid a deposit to bid, then not refunded
auction house London, paid a deposit to bid, they cancelled auction and have still not returned my deposit so i cant bid on next auction. also failed to reply to email offer and failed to have keys for access to the property i had booked a viewing with, and worst of all was the legal pack with £10k worth of hidden fees and a 14 day completion requirement. UPDATE: now the company is trying to have my review removed! and now its been 9 days and still £6200 has not been returned to my account! Further update my bank starling has had to claim back my deposit and I have also learnt after they informed me they had sold the property which was a lie as its now listed on with a local estate agent on rightmove, the agent asked on my behalf if they had received my two pre auction offers which legally they have to submit. They didn't, the seller knew nothing of my offers.
Hello David, Thank you for your feedback. The 'deposit' you paid for the auction was a pre-authorisation where funds are held but not received by us. We can confirm that the hold was released after the auction, however the time in which it takes to be made available in your account is dictated by your bank, unfortunately we do not have any control over this. The vendor of the property declined your offer which was explained to yourself and your solicitor. One of the team also called you to ask if you would like to raise your offer for the opportunity to proceed with the purchase, however, they were of the understanding that you were no longer interested in the property and would not proceed. We understand that you were disappointed to not be able to purchase the property for the price you were hoping to pay. All customers are advised to read the legal packs/special conditions before proceeding to bid, as these may contain additional fees or timescales that are specific to the property in question. This information is readily available for all customers to access and is an essential part of the customer due diligence process that allows you to make an informed decision on whether you are happy to proceed with a purchase. We apologise for any breakdown in communication from the team that may have contributed to how you feel about your experience and we will take on board your feedback to review our processes and how we can improve our service.

This was my first experience of I using auction as a method of property sale. I was initially responded to by Noah who was courteous and professional at all times throughout the process. I also have to give mention to the chaperones from Auction House, who attended the open viewing days for the courtesy and professionalism they show towards myself and the viewing public. All in all It was a very positive experience for me and I wouldn't hesitate to use Auction House services in the future and/or recommend their services to others.

They are complete rip off.They sent my solicitor and I the documents very kate and then they are charging us over £1500 for late completion charges.Do not buy from them they are scammers and have made my life a living hell.I already struggled to raise the funds but they do not care at all about my situation.They are evil people and have made me physically ill.
