We have moved many times across the country and Matthews are far and away the best estate agents we have ever used. Deborah priced our house exactly right and worked tirelessly to get and manage our sale, despite challenging personal circumstances. The help and support she and David gave us when our solicitors went into administration was above and beyond. Deborah found us a new firm and helped expedite exchange and subsequent completion so effectively that we only lost about three weeks overall. Worth every penny of their fee and two of the nicest, most professional people you could meet. If you are thinking of selling your home do not go to anyone else.

I recently purchased a property through Matthew's Estate Agents, and Deborah has been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. From start to finish, she was professional, proactive, and incredibly supportive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she kept me updated at every stage, explained everything clearly, and consistently went the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly. I had also been selling a property in the lead-up to this purchase, and that sale became unexpectedly tricky and stressful. Deborah did more work to support me and keep that sale on track than my own estate agent did. Without her care, time, and dedication, I have no doubt the sale would have fallen through. It’s thanks to Deborah that I’ve managed to keep my sanity! Her knowledge and calm approach made all the difference in managing both the practicalities and the people involved. I always felt I was in safe hands, and her commitment truly stood out. I can’t thank Deborah enough for everything she’s done. Really impressed with Mathews Estate agents (Cardiff) and Deborah in particular who looked after our sale. I was on with another well known estate agent previously and we had 5 viewings in a year! Switched to Mathews and that went to approx 10 viewings over a couple of months, one which led to the sale of my house. We found out about Deborah at Matthews Estate Agents through a close friend who'd had an amazing experience. After our first conversation over the phone, I had explained what we are looking for. Immediately, Deborah said, "if you wait around six weeks, we have a property coming up that you will definitely like, ticks all your boxes and more". We were the first to view, offer made and accepted there and then. Due to this house only ever having one owner, there were a few issues at land registry. It took us near enough 7 months to get the sale past the post. This was a a very stressful time for us, as we had recently sold our house (through a company with a shocking colour in the name, which was the most awful experience ever) and had to rent in the interim, . Deborah gave us reassurance that everything will be okay, she liaised between the both conveyancers and even scheduled calls with the land registry to check progress once a week . Answered our calls every time and dealt with us as "we were her ONLY client". I would definitely recommend Deborah from Matthews estate agency. It was an emotional time for us parting with a much loved family home after our parents died. We met Deborah in the early stages of the process and what stood out about her from other agents was her interest in people and her sound judgement and knowledge of the property business. She gave us excellent advice about how to market our home and we trusted that we were in safe hands with her skill at communication and ability at sales. We bought our house through Matthews in 2013 and were so impressed with the service that we sold our house with them in 2020. Deborah went above and beyond to help us make our house as presentable as possible with tips and advice but also kept us up to date with every movement on our sale.
