Lois one of the estate agents has been nothing but amazing in helping us with getting repairs done in our property. As a tenant in previous houses I’ve rented in the past getting repairs and work that needs doing has seemed a challenge. Lois couldn’t help us enough, everything we’ve mentioned to her has been done and within a very good time frame. She goes out of her way to check that we are happy with the work. Lois is a credit to the company and anyone who has her work for them will be extremely lucky!

Hi I have been associated with John…

Hi I have been associated with John Shephered for more than 3 years.. The team is very supportive, I have got the beautiful house by canal with the help of Megan and she has been great support during the entire process. The best part is we got the house while we were studying and were international students, where most of the Agency refuse to proceed with students, John and Shepherd were exceptional, Megan helped us through the process and helped us to get the house. I experienced some issues due to the council not being informed of new tenant contracts, which unfortunately led to me being charged council tax incorrectly. While this was frustrating, Lara has been excellent in dealing with the situation. She has been proactive in sorting everything out, kept me well informed throughout, and communicated clearly at every stage. Lara has shown great professionalism and strong communication skills, and I really appreciate the effort she put in to resolve the matter.

Extremely Helpful Staff

We met up with our agent Kelvin Zakeyo for a viewing the day of the enquiry. Even though we were a few minutes late to the viewing and he had engagements after, he was very happy to guide us through the viewing and did not rush through it one bit. He showed us around the entire property, and answered all the questions, clearing any doubts we had. He was extremely helpful and supportive, and he brought a great energy to the viewing. My friend and I ended up booking the apartments with him after our viewing and Kelvin made the process so simple and easy. Will definitely be singing his and John Shepherd’s praises if anyone’s looking for a good place in Nottingham.

Worst letting agents and management ever. Don’t communicate with you and tell you the truth. Don’t believe anything they say in regards to letting a property in whinchat drive. That house is full of damp and they take ages to even do anything about it. We had to move out. And I am now told they still have building work going on. Scalding has been up for months and months.

Good student property viewing

I recently viewed 2 different student properties and Arabel did a great job showing me around! There were some difficulties entering properties due to card access but Arabel handled everything well. I also appreciated the flexibility in pricing along with some freebies. Moving forward, I think tenants should be notified of house viewings as they were unaware and therefore interrupted by our viewing.

Exceptional service from Lara

Lara is a credit to JS. Our tenancy is due to renew in January and our first year here has not been great. Total lack of communication from our ‘property manager’, really poor service. However after speaking to Lara just once, she has sorted all of our issues in less than a week! She has been proactive, listened to and understood our frustrations, very helpful, excellent customer service, professional and acted straightaway. I can’t recommend Lara enough and I only wish she was our property manager from the very start. Thank you so much Lara, you’re an asset to JS and I hope you receive the appreciation you deserve
