GoogleKris Smith was determined to sell our property in a difficult market and he succeeded. He left no stone unturned in his efforts to find a buyer. It created footfall and so the property was viewed by many. He followed up viewings, gave feedback so where improvements could be made we were able to do so. The eventual buyer was someone he had phoned every few weeks who was persuaded to see the property again . This resulted in a 24 hour exchange and completion within a month.Relieved and happy sellers and a satisfied buyer.

My last experience was on walking towards the entrance to their Hampstead office, I saw this charming young lady on Reception beaming at me even before I had walked in! She then saw to it very quickly that I spoke to the relevant person/people - who were equally pleasant, welcoming and efficient! Laura - the Office Manager is a particular breath of fresh air. Always such a pleasant experience - I'd recommend anytime!

TrustpilotNever renting with Knight Frank again. TDS timeline for deposit return is ignored and no consideration for tenants during and at the end of the tenancy.
I ended my tenancy 1 month (4.5 weeks) ago, and received the check out report 3.5 weeks ago, but Knight Frank still hasn’t returned my deposit and hasn’t even informed me what deductions they are intending to make. Despite my numerous requests to return the deposit in full (as we left the property in good condition and have evidence against the inconsistent claims the check out report is trying to make), all I receive in return is that the property manager is still processing the charges with my landlord. This comes after he indicated he required “a couple of days” to get back to us following the receipt of the check out report. These “couple of days” was 3.5 weeks ago. The latest ‘update’ after I re-requested my deposit back, was that he was waiting for quotes on the charges he intends to put on us. This update was over a week ago. All this keeping in mind that TDS stipulates that the deposit should be returned within 10 days of the tenant requesting it. It is clear they never had any intention of going through this process swiftly. I asked about the expected timeline when I moved out and got a generic response that it’s all dependant on myself and the landlord. I have been actively involved and it’s Knight Frank dragging its feet. As usual they act only for the landlord and ignore the financial and emotional strain this has on the tenants. Keeping in mind this is after a 2 year tenancy which included a rat infestation and a broken boiler in the middle of winter, amongst a tonne of other issues (like waiting 6-8 weeks for repairs flagged on check in to be resolved).I have rented with a range of agencies before and I have never been treated this way. Stay away from Knight Frank - they might have flats that look nice but you’ll find yourself paying a high rent and having to put in an unreasonable amount of effort to get things resolved. All this while after the terrible experience you have had, they will try to keep your deposit too. PS if you submit a formal complaint to KF they will respond within 28 days - not particularly helpful if your property manager is the one holding up the process.

NO ONE replies, NO ONE available on the phones.... NO ONE or anyone there gives a dam with selling anyone a house... Lies, Lies and more lies... You telephone them and your told that there is NO ONE in Birmingham's office to sell you a home.... or an apartment.... They a very swanky office in Birmingham City Centre and yet it seems NO ONE works there..... Why does it not allow me to put no stars on here......
