Excellent Team At Chestertons

From day 1 on the first visit with Chestertons we have had a great experience. Selling houses is always stressful and our sale involved a very difficult situation. Chestertons went above and beyond. Great team, great communication, they endeavor to find solutions at all times and we have had possibly the best experience selling property with this team. I would say they have gone above and beyond. We found a great buyer almost immediately for a house that needed a lot of work, but the process has been seamless. We cant recommend highly enough. I had an excellent experience with this company. In my opinion, it is a top-tier real estate agency. A distinctive feature is the politeness and professionalism of its agents. From the very beginning, Simon and Tania were extremely kind and attentive. They showed us several properties and made us feel completely at confortable in making our choice. They are not the kind of agents who try to push anything on a tenant. It’s clear that doing things properly is a hallmark of the company. Whenever I had any questions, they were promptly addressed. I was panicking about a situation of urgency. Called property management, Briana picked up, told me not to panic and that she would sort it. Sleep Deprivation Torture Thanks to Chestertons Incompetence

I recently rented a property through Chestertons. The letting agents were nice enough, but the moment we were handed the keys, the property management arm of Chestertons has been an absolute nightmare. The property was filthy when we moved in, so they promised to send a cleaner. The cleaner arrived, but told me that they'd only been instructed to clean one portion of a skirting board and steam clean the carpets. When I pointed out the grimy, sticky, filthy walls in every room, I was told they 'didn't clean walls.' Turns out, that was the least of our problems. There are no keys to the windows in the apartment and they're locked shut. The alarm system, which we were given no instruction for, beeps in the middle of the night and flashes a bright blue strobe light every time my partner or I move in the night. The previous tenant left furniture and wall mirrors in an unfurnished house, and there are a bunch of other minor maintenance issues we've flagged. The answer we keep getting is that they're "looking into it" and "hope to have an update soon".

By far the worst agency for tenants and landlords

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience with Chestertons Fulham lettings and property management. Multiple issues with the property left unresolved, we finally decided to cut our losses and leave, didn’t receive any compensation for living in a property which had stains and leaks and other issues, instead we were charged an early vacating fee. Escalated to management and then senior management, no one cared. It’s been 3 years we are still scarred by our horrible experience with this company and would not recommend it to our worst enemy. Stay well clear if you value your sanity.

Isaiah Samuels- Despite joining well into our tenancy, Isaiah was extremely proactive in trying to resolve our issues and give his best efforts in all our interactions. We had several issues with the landlord and previous property managers who were unable to get approval to carry out repair works. Isaiah swiftly carried this out shortly after joining and made the rest of our tenancy smooth! As tenants, this is what we look for in agencies rather than those who only protect landlord interests.
