I can't praise enough the Chestertons Sales team in Kew. Not only was everybody I dealt with very friendly and professional. I was impressed by how quickly suitable potential buyers were identified. Viewings were accommodated with sufficient notice, client feedback was promptly given and excellent guidance was provided during the conveyancing stages. Worst communication from the property management team.I requested a call back from the agency several times due to my property manager, Shakil, was unavailable, however, he never called back or emailed back. I have to call them day after day to solve the property issues. It's been two months, and my request has never been satisfied. Their manager is busier than the prime minister, so just avoid this agency, don't bother them.

Chestertons is very hands on about finding you your home. From the moment I sent my initial inquiry, they were very adamant about getting me a place to live. Once I found my flat, Madie was on the phone with me constantly ensuring I had a quick turn around. Within less than a week my from finding the flat, I was moving in. Wish I would have found Chestertons sooner.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Chestertons and cannot, in good faith, recommend them to anyone looking for reliable property management.From the first day of our tenancy they were in breach of the contract. Previously agreed to essential works had been completely neglected and the house had stood untouched between tenancies. On the day of the start of our contract we arrived to find the deep clean, major leaks and broken beds unaccounted for with no prior warning from Chestertons. Our emails detailing exact clauses breached by the agency and explaining were refusing to move in until these breaches were rectified went completely ignored by Chestertons. In reply we received the same mantra that the works we were asking to be completed were ‘extra’ and we should now take possession of the flat. This lack of information and misinformation since has exacerbated our disappointment, as has being literally bullied into taking possession, presumably to ensure that rent obligations kick in. Their communication throughout this issue was shockingly poor. Emails and phone calls went unanswered for days, which left us constantly chasing them for updates on move in dates, timelines for works to be completed and compensation for the rent and the major inconvenience. Despite a stream of misrepresentations regarding the state of works and a failure to meet the contractual obligations under the lease agreement fully, we were provided keys 14 days after the start of our tenancy. Following this Chestertons have refused to refund the complete 14 days of rent which the house stood empty for- insisting that we will only be refunded for 8 of those days and that this offer is ‘generous’. All in all, the poor communication, lack of professionalism, and general neglect of tenant needs made our experience with Chestertons incredibly frustrating. I would advise anyone considering using this agency to look elsewhere for a more trustworthy and tenant-friendly service.

I had a viewing appointment for a rental property with their office at 40 Connaught Street at 13:00 on 03/10/2024.The agent arrived late and made a phone call to find me even though I was the only one standing in front of the property. She did not even bother to apologise for being late and snapped at me saying that it took her to find a parking space and she did not provide any proper viewing experience because she was too busy sulking. I find her attitude very unprofessional and unpleasant.Note: No response is required from Chestertons as all you do is to disclose my personal information here; I had to repost this.. In addition to your poor service, you do not appear to have any consideration about how this review system works. Shame on you,

Highly recommend Gary and his team at Chestertons! They put up our house in the rental market, helped us find the best tenancy deal and now manage the property. We’ve rented our house out for 3 months now and we’ve never had to worry.
