TrustpilotUnethical and unprofessional
Unbelievably unethical and unprofessional behavior. They refused to return our holding deposit that they had had for less than 24 hours, because I was unexpectedly hospitalized and diagnosed with a serious illness that prevented me from moving to London. I told them immediately, sent medical records (edited to add: I offered to send my medical records and they declined), etc. They had told us explicitly that the holding deposit would only be kept if we were "misleading in our application", which was not our case. They had expended no money, the referencing process had not yet begun and they could start the process with another tenant that same day - they just pocketed the deposit. They wrote us in an email that "Going forward we will ask if the applicant has any health issues which might affect the move." (!)Also impossible to reach the "Director". We were given his name but no email address, no phone number, and our requests to discuss the matter with him were refused.Really shady practices.

Dear Victoria, we are very shocked to read your review. Firstly, you have put in an offer for this property that you really wanted so bad on the 28th of the month and and on the 1st of next month you have told us that you no longer want to rent this property. so it was more than 24 hours later and the referencing process has already begun. You have never sent us your medical files. it is so shocking how you twist and turn things when you lie after lie. Our director has appointment a manager to deal with your case there is nothing shady about that. we wish only the best.

TrustpilotRenting a flat in London with Affordable Realty
My flatmate and I have recently moved into a new flat and we were helped through the whole process by Rachel. As fairly young girls moving to London for the first time we were quite a bit inexperienced in the renting process. However, Rachel was extremely patient with us and made sure we were helped every step of the way. Would definitely recommend.

TrustpilotAbsolutely Amazing!
Rachel and Affordable Realty have been such a great help. I reached out to view a particular flat advertised online and Rachel got back to me really quickly offering a slot for a viewing. She let me know about another they had nearby and offered to show me that one aswell, which ended up being the one we wanted!

We were helped by Rachel, when trying to find our new flat in London. She was very attentive, and made sure that everything was completed on time, despite it being a surprisingly complex referencing process. If you are looking for a flat in London, I recommend Affordable Realty!

TrustpilotBest experience so far
In the 8 years since I started working in London, I already had to move place 6 times. It's always a major nightmare to find a new place in time and get all the bureaucracy done, only to then discover that the place really wasn't as nice as advertised. This was my best experience so far! The flat is the largest and nicest I had so far, clean, newly refurbished and still well within my budget. The agent (Rachel) very professionally guided me through all of the paperwork and even arranged some extra furniture and minor repairs within less than a week! This is the best experience I had with an estate agent so far.
