We rented through Pocock & Shaw for three years, from 2022 to 2025, and had a consistently positive experience throughout our tenancy. The staff, especially Judy and Mary, were always professional, approachable, and very helpful whenever we needed assistance. Judy has been a constant presence throughout these 3 years. Any questions or concerns we raised were responded to quickly and handled efficiently. Maintenance issues were dealt with promptly, which made a real difference and gave us peace of mind. Communication was always clear and friendly, and we felt listened to as tenants. They were attentive to any complaints and ensured everything was resolved properly. Brilliant letting agent, we used them for just over 2 years and they were amazing. Our move in was quick and very simple they did most of the work for us all we had to worry about was picking up our keys and getting settled, while living there any issues we had were resolved very quickly and efficiently. There were reliable, balanced tenant and owner needs, responsive and had a good human touch. Pocock & Shaw are the agents for the property I'm buying. They have been superb. Sandra and Jan in the Cottenham office have been patiently and endlessly helpful, not least in communications with the sellers, my solicitors being rubbish. The people who've shown me round, Glynn and Penny, are relaxed and friendly, intelligently and unpushily interested in my purchase. They pointed out queries I hadn't thought of and discussed pros and cons. I've no idea how P&S perform on behalf of sellers, but I'd certainly be happy to use them again.

We have been extremely satisfied with the treatment we have had from Pocock and Shaw during the selling of our late son’s house in Cherry Hinton. This included the choice of various contractors who tidied up the house and the garden and removed items of furniture as well at different times. Kevin Burt-Gray is very personable, efficient and easy to work with, and Jan Gannon was very attentive in answering our questions when he was unavailable. We also valued his recommendations as to the choice of buyer ensuring a trouble-free transaction. We have recommended a friend of ours who has a house in Barton near Cambridge to use the services of Pocock and Shaw when he comes to selling his own house which could occur in the near future. Overall we know we made a good choice of estate agent when we were presented with the problem of selling our son’s house in November 2021.
