Established in Portsmouth in 1995, Northwood has rapidly expanded to over 80 estate and letting agents across the UK. Our Cambridge branch caters for both sales and lettings in Beverley, Hull and surrounding areas. GoogleI would not hesitate to recommend Northwood based on my recent experience of renting an apartment for a client. Unlike many of the local letting agents, Gulshan and the team got back to me when they said they would, responded quickly to emails, fixed things that needed fixing immediately and really went the extra mile to help my client across the threshold of her new home. Especially thanks to Mr Gulshan Mangat the whole period was a good experience for us. They are settled down now and enjoying their new home. As a group of four we have been tenants at a property with Northwood for over two years, with Mathew as our agent at present. Any problems arising with the property have been dealt with promptly after notifying Mathew and Northwood, and a substitution of one of the tenants was dealt with in a smooth fashion. We would not hesitate in initiating a tenancy with Matthew and his team again in the future.

This is in regards to the Cambridge Branch.Giving 1 star because I am not able to give 0.Our experience with this company in particular with Jade and her manager Matthew was absolutely disgusting, disrespectful, unlawful, ridiculous, I could carry on forever.They did not protect our deposit which is a breach of statutory law, nonetheless they still had the audacity to request us to vacate the property, once again breach of statutory law.They then decided to protect our deposit (3 months after they should have), however they only did this after requesting us to vacate the property, yet again breach of statutory law.When advised of these we were completely and utterly ignored by both Jade and her manager Matthew.We were always met with disrespect and rudness to top it up.Furthermore when we put foward a formal complaint we had no reply from Matthew whatsoever.My advice, stay as far away from them as possible.

I was really lucky to come across Sean from Northwood Estate agents when I was looking for a secured guaranteed rent scheme for a property I was buying in Cambridge. Sean offered to visit the property and thanks to his advice, I was able to negotiate a substantial reduction in the asking price. He also advised on what was needed to get the property up to standard and kindly linked me with some trusted builders. Even when my plans changed, Sean remained supportive and understanding. I can’t thank him enough and will stay in touch. What I appreciated from all my dealings with Sean was his knowledge, his professionalism and his kindness. Highly recommended.

Having not rented for over ten years, I was apprehensive about the whole process, but Northwood made it all very easy and enjoyable! I dealt with Reece and Mat in the Mill Road office and found them both polite, friendly, helpful, knowledgable and approachable. I had a few issues when I moved in and they were sorted straight away and without complaint. They always kept me in the loop with regards to any maintenance visits, inspections or viewings, whilst also making me laugh. What more can you ask for?! Would highly recommend.

GoogleI moved my property to Northwood after it had failed to let with another agent. I took their Guaranteed Rent package and Northwood paid me the first payment even before they had moved a tenant into the property. This helped with certainty and being able to accurately manage my finances and budgets. The property is soon to be tenanted by a high-quality blue-chip tenant and I couldn’t be more pleased with their overall service

GoogleSimply the best estage agents offering rent guaranteed income in cambridge. I initially signed up for fully managed and then realised the rent guaranteed service they offer which saved me money as my property was vacant for 4 months during covid lockdowns and I was still receiving rent during those 4 months in lockdowns as I was on the rent guaranteed package. All the team at Northwood Cambridge are very helpful! Highly recommend.

Dealing with both Matthew and Chloe has always been extremely easy and friendly. They add a 'human' touch in that they are fair and reasonable, something which I have found lacking with some previous agencies I have let from. In a good sense we rarely have to call on them, which is testament to the condition and maintaince of the property; on the rare occasion something does go wrong they're always prompt in getting it sorted. We currently looking to renew our tenancy with them again.
