AVOID at all costs. Still waiting to resolve and still no response from the below. Nearly 4 months now after handing the keys back. Terrible company.After responding to a request to advise carter Jonas how to help me, still no further in obtaining the rent deposit back. Total delay technics.Completely unproffessional company - Whilst trying to get my rent deposit back, the Senior Building Surveyor suggested, 2 unqualified statements. I am yet to have my monies back, or even paret there of.1, All electrics and data cables should be removed from the floors and walls. Seriously, this was part of the reason we rented the place originally. He had no idea what the landlord required either.2, 2 different cracks that had appeared in entire building was because the decorator had not even visited. I cannot believe he could even suggest this. It was obvious that the old building needing regular decoration, which we did, regularly. It was obvious the decorator had been in. If he thinks he is qualified, then I would check his training certificate, of course after 3 months cracks could appear in an old building. Because of his attitude, I will not be using Carter Jonas for any of my future ventures.I have just sent you an email, after your response. Awaiting a positive reply

Amazing team.

Naomi at Carter Jonas has been amazing, it was a massive hurdle for me with selling and then renting and extremely stressful on the selling end (with a different agent I must add) but she made it quite easy for me as I haven't rented for about 18 years. The whole experience with Carter Jonas has been great and I would highly recommend using them if you can.

Avoid they treated me appalingly

I had a disgusting experience selling my house through Carter Jonas.Despite teliing them I wanted to keep my sale private to my neighbours, one month before my move they went round each house in my close, (apart from mine) with a A4 sheet of paper advertising a photo of my home and letting people know they had sold it, therefore disrespecting my need for privacy.Worst company i have ever had the misfortune to use.

Seamless purchase transaction

The purchase of our home was professionally handled. I used a "partner" at Carter Jonas as a valuer for a statutory lease extension for a property that I own. The individual concerned wrote an initial valuation report in which I found (after spending ten minutes reading it) several mistakes. He was rather reticent to correct them, but did so after a bit of argument. I also had to argue with him in order to get him to lower the valuation estimate, which is clearly in the interest of the client in contracts such as this. During these discussions he said at one point "a few hundred pounds here or there doesn't make any difference." Well, maybe it doesn't matter to him because it's not his money, but it clearly matters to the client! I was not very pleased by his attitude overall, and his work (which is routine at best) was expensive, and careless. Would definitely not use Carter Jonas again.

Professional and nice to deal with

We selected Carter Jonas to act on an executors’ sale of a flat in Bishop Mansions because of their experience of handling transactions in this complex. We were not disappointed and very pleased with the service we received from Wayland Ward-Smith and Mandy Jacobs. They showed the flat to a number of potential buyers in a very short period of time and secured an offer at the asking price. The transaction was then delayed due to challenges in obtaining Probate but we received good advice on how to manage the delay and they also kept the intended purchaser advised so that they acquired the property when formalities had been completed

Professional service second to none

We used Carter Jonas's Fulham branch (Wayland Ward-Smith) to sell a much loved flat in January. We have used the branch on two previous occasions and again could not fault the service. We achieved almost 10% above asking price and were impressed with the professionalism with which the transaction was handled. The communication was clear and advice was offered where needed. We unreservedly recommend the branch and will use Wayland when we next come to buy or sell property in the area.

I would like to praise Ms Lajla Turner from the South Kensington office. She gave me great advice about the decor of the flat. I followed her advice and in less than two weeks she had found me a suitable tenant with almost the asking price. Ms Turner provided us with very reliable reference checks and the right tenant. Great agency to work for

We provide Carter Jonas Bishops Park (Igor) with photos and plans and they are great to work with. They are always on the ball and communicate really well between us and also the occupants of properties making it really easy for us to get the best out of a property. Not everyone takes the time to setup with tenants or the owners of a property as well as the Bishops Park branch do. They are a pleasure to work for.

I admit we made a mistake of not reading any reviews of this agency beforehand, but having read them now, I’m glad everything ended exactly the way it has.We requested a viewing of a house in Cambridge just a couple of days ago and were told to wait for the video of the property. The video did arrive through whatsapp the following day, and we were pretty happy with everything, so we replied back to the agent saying we’d like to proceed and asked to clarify a few small details and if they maybe had a floor plan too. The agent read the message and left us at that without acknowledging our questions or our interest. Being ghosted by a property agent was definitely a first for us!She then sent a reply the following day, completely ignoring everything else, and just replied that they don’t have floor plans for their properties. Before replying to her, we checked the property’s website listing, and what do you know - it was now listed as Let Agreed.Extremely rude and unprofessional behaviour, and even if we saw other properties we liked at this agency, we surely wouldn’t use them now.

I think this has to the most judgemental company I have ever dealt with and I'm 54 years old. They wouldn't even accept 6 months rent up front on a property! If you don't fit into their pigeon hole requirements then you aint got no chance of renting a property.
