Friendly and honest renting process

We found an apartment via Rightmove and got in touch with Bidwells through there. The associate we dealt with, Niki, was very helpful from the get-go. Niki has been very understanding of our situation (being in the middle of a visa application process) and has provided full transparency about the rental process, always being clear about what Bidwells could and could not guarantee given our situation. Furthermore, we have never rented in the UK before and Niki has been very helpful with providing clarifications to all of our questions.

The sale of our property was very complicated due to Deeds of Variation to change our lease and having to deal with our Estate Management Company, their solicitors, plus Landlord solicitors and finally, our buyers solicitors. Time taken to reach decisions was,to put it politely, a painful and long drawn out procedure...10 months to be precise.We were extremely fortunate to have Ollie Rivers from Bidwells to negotiate us through the minefield. First review in years but I feel it’s needed. Landlords avoid this estate agent if you are trying to rent out your property. I have been trying to book a viewing at a property for over a week to no avail. Property manager has other properties to deal with I’m being told, no return call after multiple attempts to book a viewing, either understaffed, bad management or both. Landlords avoid.
