We've been with Malcolms for six and half years, rented a three bedroom house! Michael was always very helpful,...gave us his WhatsApp number so no hassle and long wait for a response whenever an issue has occurred! We've been treated respectfully and we are grateful for being part of the Malcolms family, now we have managed to buy our own house and we have moved away, but we had a nice stay, and we often are nostalgic about those times. I have a really great experience with the agency, as they continue to manage the property I’m renting on behalf of my landlord. I was unfortunately locked out of my house on the way to work last Saturday morning. My house and car keys all inside. I called Michael from Malcolm’s lettings at 06.10am and bless him he got back to me as he was away with his family. He drove back to the office to pick up a set of keys to let me retrieve my keys. He was on holiday with his family, this showed the professionalism, care, compassion and commitment to his tenants. I was so upset that I had to make the call but Michael reassured me that it was no problem and part of the service. He went above and beyond, thank you Michael you are an asset to the company. I would truly recommend this letting agent. I have been with them coming up to 8 years in November.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Anthony Stevens and his team from Malcolms to sell my existing house and purchase my new home, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Anthony has a good knowledge of the local area and market trends and was able to explain in detail the pricing considerations between different locations and properties. He had an excellent recall of what was currently on the market and what had recently sold. He also kept me updated with developments in both chains and always returned my calls within hours. He has successfully managed to negotiate a good solution for everyone involved on the buying side of my transaction and I have full confidence that I will have the same smooth resolution for my sale. Anthony and his team, Jamie, Caroline and Shannon were always on time to prepare for any viewings of my property, turning the lights on, opening the blinds etc and did their utmost to promote the house’s best features. Viewings were booked well in advance, and I was notified by email and text. The whole process was well managed and extremely professional. We rented with Malcoms and Michael was our rental agent who looked after us throughout our tenancy - honestly one of the best agents we've ever had a relationship with. From day one, Michael helped us secure the property as we were moving down south from the Midlands and it was quite a stressful move under a tight time frame. Whenever we had any issues, Michael was prompt with responses, fixes and sending out the right people and never made us feel like a problem or like we were asking too much. When we made the decision to move back home, he also made checking out the property easy and stress free. Genuinely could not recommend Malcoms and Michael enough, was sort of gutted to move on but I would absolutely direct people to use this estate agent. When we were looking to move to Cambridge at first, we dealt with a few other companies and they couldn't have cared less and were so rude, so I would honestly say Malcoms is definitely one of the best in Cambridge.

This is the first time in the 12+ years of renting that I am leaving a good review. Mike was incredibly helpful from start to finish and has continued to help us after we have moved in. All emails were answered quickly and any issues have been processed there and then. We even had a welcome box with some goodies on move in day. Can't fault them and would highly recommend! We have recently bought a property being sold through Malcolms. We dealt mostly with Shannon, though we were equally satisfied with our interactions with other team members. From the first viewings to completion we always felt everyone was nice and helpful. We were living 2h away from Cambourne at the time, and when we did viewings we sometimes had to bring our 3-year-old along for the whole day. Scheduling viewings for convenient times was as painless as possible, and the actual viewings were as useful as we could have hoped for thanks to Shannon interest in what we were looking for and general friendliness towards the little one (who could be more than a little restive after a day of viewings!). Afterwards we always felt we could get in touch with any questions about the properties and the process, and everyone was always super clear and professional. In the big stressful mess that was buying a house, Malcolms were a rare source of reassurance.
