Seymour's marketed my apartment through Aaron Williams of the Camberley Office and immediately had 7 groups viewing the property, of which two made offers. One family was chosen and then Annalise Beer of the Woking Office took over the process which was then seemless until the tenants moved in. I must say, throughout, Seymours acted in a very professional manner and were easy to work with. I commend Aaron and Annalise and we are hoping for a successful relationship.

Renting a 2-bed property through Seymours Woking was a deeply regrettable experience. From day one to the final day of tenancy, their behaviour was marked by dishonesty, pressure tactics, and complete disregard for tenant rights.

Mark from Seymours, Staines branch made the choice easy on what Estate Agents on the area to choose. He is down to earth, highly knowledgeable in the local market and area. He made no unrealistic promises (unlike other Agents). Only a promise that he and his team would work hard to sell our property....Mark kept to his word.We accepted an offer within a week after numerous viewings. I was kept up to date with all processes. Everything was running smoothly until the buyers pulled out at point of exchange The same week the housing market took a dive! The team got straight back on the task finding appropriate potential buyers and we soon accepted an offer. This process was quite long and and not as straight forward as the first (no fault of Seymours.) But again we were kept up to date, Alan and Billy kept on top of actions. Choose Seymours, they work hard, get to know your home, they match suitable potential buyers to your property. The team are helpful, friendly and approachable. Seymours has played a major role in helping us to achieve a successful house sale following our dreadful experience with another local agency which was very rude and lacking professionalism.We were extremely disappointed with this first agent who wasted 2 precious months during the summer time where the house market price was at its best to sell our property. This left us sceptic as to being able to trust another agent again. That was until we contacted Mark (Seymours) who managed to convince us to give it a try again with his agency appreciating that he and his team had also managed to sell successfully another house in our same street with a neighbour we knew quite well. We are forever grateful for Mark’s support who has shown a high level of expertise and professionalism during the time our property was on sale on the market. He played an important role in providing an accurate and realistic valuation of our property and in reinsuring us about the unique opportunity we had before the winter came, at a time where we were dealing with multiple personal challenges in our life. My experience with this business was as follows. I’m a partially disabled software engineer who became as such after contracting COVID in 2020. I was unable to work and this sent me into a financial crisis which resulted in a CCJ being put on my credit record. I’d slowly improved health-wise since then and was looking to move out. I explained my situation to an agent at a very helpful and friendly estate business who were understanding and offered to provide as much help as possible. After many months of attempts, the estate business managed to get me an offer for a property that suited my health needs. Unfortunately, a family member of mine had made an offer for the same property via two different estate businesses; the one previously mentioned and Seymour’s. I received a call soon after from the estate business informing me that the offer had been withdrawn at the last minute, because Seymour’s had taken advantage of the fact that they had my information at hand, and used it to coerce the client to refuse the offer so they can make an offer through themselves for someone else. Bearing in mind that the information that Seymour’s had provided was the same information the client already knew. When I called to complain about this, the person who picked up then said, “Next time just be honest.” As first time letters, we were not on the subscription list for the starter pack that informs you that it is somehow “dishonest”, to make offers through different agents for the same property (if it even is and this wasn’t just an excuse to nick the offer). I spoke to the manager who promised to help going forward and said they had a property available that they wouldn’t mind recommending us for. This never happened. This business cares for nothing, but making money through whatever means possible. They also encourage discrimination against the disabled by using the CCJ that’s on my record, as a result of said disability, against me. It is also unbelievable that they allow their employees to call people dishonest for genuine ignorance of how the system works. Do not recommend.

Well overdue this review... we had a lengthy purchase for various reasons namely the solicitors! Adam initially was dealing with our purchase but that moved to Tom when Adam left the business. The transition was seamless between them which is what you want with transactions like this as its another stressor removed. Tom chased solicitors who were being slow with things up until the end. Overall very happy with the service especially in comparison to other local estate agents like waterfords who are useless at best!

the agency (Surbiton) is thorough and diligent. I am a buyer and I appreciated how the property was immediately marked "sold subject to contract" on websites as soon as they accepted my offer. When you're going through mortgage application etc, knowing that the property is no longer marketed is very comforting. I'm not sure if this is the general practice, or was specific to this property, but it meant a lot for me. Also, they did basic due diligence on me prior to passing my offer on the seller, which other agencies I offered with, didn't. If I become a seller one day, I'm probably going to look for this sort of attitude. The downside would be a slightly sluggish response rate, but in cases like that - I just called them. Other than that, I did not experience any discomfort dealing with them.My contacts were Sam Brown and Jenny Morgan.
