My experience with Martin & Co Camberley has been extremely frustrating and, at times, very stressful. From the outset of my tenancy, I encountered significant disrepair issues that were not addressed within a reasonable timeframe. For example, I was unable to properly access the garden because the door lock was broken when I moved in, and it took approximately three months for this to be resolved. I also reported issues with no heating and leaking windows in the sitting room. It took around four months for anyone to attend regarding the windows, and to this day, there has been no proper resolution to the heating issue. As a result, the sitting room has been effectively unusable due to how cold it is. Despite raising these concerns multiple times, matters were consistently delayed, with little urgency or effective action taken, causing ongoing inconvenience. A particular concern was my interaction with the branch manager, Diane. When I attended the office to discuss these issues, I felt I was spoken over, not listened to, and treated in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. I was not given a fair opportunity to explain my concerns, which only added to the frustration. After raising a formal complaint regarding this conduct, I was subsequently served with a Section 21 notice. I understand that this type of notice does not require the landlord to provide a reason; however, from my perspective, I have met all of my obligations as a tenant, including paying rent in full and on time and not breaching the terms of my tenancy. This has made the situation feel particularly unfair. Since then, there have been further actions and communications that I consider unnecessary and disproportionate, which have caused considerable stress and disruption. Overall, I found the conduct at this branch to be unprofessional, unresponsive, and lacking in fairness. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution and to keep thorough records when dealing with this agency.

I have had a very positive experience with Martin & Co Camberley. From the initial viewing to moving in, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Special thanks to Louis Mundy for being extremely kind and supportive throughout the viewing and paperwork process and to Chantal Regan and Diane Peacock for their quick, professional responses in resolving issues with the oven and kitchen sink, both were dealt with efficiency by arranging the right professionals to fix the problems on time. The only area of difficulty was with Martin & Co’s partner company Vouch, whose guarantor process felt unnecessarily complicated and caused some personal stress. I hope Martin & Co can work with them to streamline the process for future tenants by ensuring that they contact the Guarantor 'just once' in the overall reference process. That said, I am extremely happy with Martin & Co’s service and responsiveness. I’ve now been in this property for nearly 3 months and have rented through Martin & Co across cities for about 20 months, always with good experiences. Thank you to the team for making the letting process as smooth as possible!

I want to give a huge thanks to Ben Luckett and Martin & Co. since we found our new property with them their service has been amazing and very professional. Communication is key when moving into a new property and Ben has always been consistent with us and given us regular updates and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. ❌🔴 Do not waste your time with this agency🔴❌ I had a very disappointing experience. I called three separate times to arrange a viewing for a property, and each time I was told that a colleague would contact me shortly, but no one ever did. On my last call, I clearly explained that I had already contacted you twice before and received the same response without any follow-up. The representative assured me she would pass my details to the sales team and that someone would contact me, but unfortunately, that still didn’t happen. This lack of communication is very frustrating and unprofessional.

I have dealt with Louis Mundy and looking at the most previous review from Ovidiu Tugui. I can not agree more. I had received a letter from Louis where admittedly I was very hesitant at the first. He had noticed I had a property advertised with another agent. My house was empty and had been on market for other a month with very little interest. From his letter he had explained how he was very surprised my house was still available. Estate agents do not have the best reputation and I was not convinced Louis had the tenant for my property. I had thought this was a sales technique however after another week with no interest I decided to give Louis a call. This was the best decision I made and I should of had called him from the very beginning. He was smart, knowledgeable, discussed the market, also gave me a few tips of better ways to advertise my property. I still do not know why my previous agent did not give me the service that Louis had. I went from little interest to giving Louis a chance where he produced 6 viewings in 4 days and found me the most super tenant. I can not be more pleased. Absolutely top dogs in what they do. I own a property in Camberly and need a well run letting agency that are on the ball, as I live a fair distance away. I trust them implicitly with my property, they find excellent tenants and deal with any issues swiftly and professionally. I would like to particularly name Lauren and Giles as superb, and very experienced staff, the type of experience I have not had the pleasure of coming across in other letting agents in the area. If you are going to use an estate agent , use Louis Mundy at Martin and Co. In the long, painful and often desperate process of finding a home we have had to deal with a lot of estate agents. I have been with other agencies in Camberley and Louis has definitely shown me 100 reasons why he is the best agent in Camberley. I will never use another agent again and I wish to only deal with Louis. He had told me he had been an estate agent for 4 years where he had started when he was 18. This is a career for Louis where he wants to push to be the Go-to agent in Camberley. Louis had really done things differently compared to other agents and I see no one reason why he won’t be the best in Camberley. Estate agents normally lack a personal touch where they open doors and take offers. Louis is the absolute best and you will be very lucky to deal with him when either renting or selling your house. The service I have received from them has been exceptional. I have relied on them, as have my tenants. They have been everything you would hope for and more. Going above and beyond what you would expect and what could be deemed reasonable. Looking after tenants and landlords is a complex and challenging role to fill, more now then ever.
