GoogleFantastic team of people, Matthew and Lee were both very supportive throughout the purchasing process. If it wasn't for them pushing me slightly I wouldn't be a happy owner of a lovely flat today, as I didn't even dream about the possibility of buying something of my own. They rented me a house at 26 Jefferson Walk ST16 1WF and I listened to construction noises for 1 year and they forced me to sign an additional contract for 1 year even though I told them before. They tried to rent me this house above market prices. When I left, they had no other choice so they rented it to others at a lower price. They are not honest and try to rip people off. Also, do not trust the zero deposit system, they work together and try to get money from you

Also got back to emails quickly which is great as moving can be stressful. Very satisfied with their customer service and thank you Bridgfords for helping me find the best flat for tenancy.

GoogleLee Johnson- Mortgage Services Consultant, has delivered the most incredible service from start to finish. I had complex circumstances but Lee truly went above and beyond to ensure I got the most competitive mortgage and that it completed on time (he made sure to keep applying pressure on the solicitors when things slowed down on the Seller's end). I cannot thank him enough for his hard work and dedication. I also cannot recommend him highly enough. He gives a truly personalised service and I feel very confident that I have received the best mortgage rate best rate on the market I could based on my circumstances. Lee also provided excellent financial advise throughout, kept me informed of market changes and key trends in a vary volatile market, found me a competitive deal on a very comprehensive home and contents insurance and talked me through PPI. Nothing was too much of an ask for him. He has been extremely responsive throughout and extremely personable. I am genuinely looking forward to when I need to renew my mortgage with him as I know I will be in expert hands.

GoogleMe and my partner have just completed on our first property through Bridgfords Halifax. We were introduced to Lee Johnson, Mortgage & Protection Consultant (Countrywide) who sorted our mortgage and made the whole process as smooth as possible. From submission we had our mortgage offer within 2 days! Also a massive thankyou to Caitlin who dealt with our purchase and was constantly on with chasing solicitors and always on the other end of the phone if we needed. Couldn’t recommend Bridgfords / Countrywide enough and will definitely be using them in the future.

I visited a number of estate agents in Halifax Centre last week and Bridgfords were the best by far. On entry I was welcomed by Courtney who went above and beyond to help me with my enquiry. She took my details and added me to the mailing list for updates and has been actively sending properties that may be of interest to me ever since. Her colleague Alix was also really helpful. You can feel that the culture here is all about the people & customer. The estate agent I went to prior (not mentioning any names but very, very close to Bridgfords) had me sitting around for 10 minutes whilst on a call then reluctantly gave me a print out of a property that already had 25 people booked to view the next day (a pointless exercise, just fob me off why don't you) He didn't even take my details and I felt as though he couldn't wait to go for his lunch. Now that's what bad customer service. But Bridgfords do not deserve bad press. May I urge you to please take no notice of the bad reviews below because the team here are warm, welcoming & lovely and good at what they do so keep you heads high, because you deserve a big well done! :)

GoogleIf Carlsberg did letting agents...! These guys are fantastic. Having registered my interest with them and explained my requirements, only 2 days later I was called about a property that had just come up and fit my requirements perfectly. I viewed it the same day and signed there and then. The reference process was painless and I had great communication throughout from both Sarah and Alex. I now can't wait to move into to my gorgeous new flat :)

Had to call numerous times over two days before someone answered, waited a week for the viewing to be called two two hours before for confirmation I was attending, then one hour before they call again and cancel because someones car broke down. Absolute pants.

After being shown a property for rent I…After being shown a property for rent I informed the agent from Bridgfords in Sale that I’d like to put an offer in. The agency said she’d call later that day to talk me through the checks required ect and how to proceed. No call me no response from texts from the agent. When I called the office I was informed an offer was put in the day after I’d viewed the place and it was now off the market!! How was I not able to put an offer in. Had my time wasted be lied too. Had to take time out of work during a busy period to be ignored. Stay well clear of Bridgfords in sale. I won’t mention the agents name publicly as much as I’d like too

GoogleRecently had dealings with Lee Johnson, Mortgage & Protection Consultant at Brigfords estate agents. He was really friendly and efficient. Our mortgage was accepted and in place within 3 weeks despite our initial concerns regarding two mortgages whilst we did work at our new property. Sarah Broadbent was our contact person and she was excellent from the start. We viewed the property online but Sarah ensured that we had a good look at the property although it was virtually, she explained/answered many of our queries as this area was new for us. Communication was great and Sarah ensured we had all the information before we moved to the property and she was present to hand us the key at the property. She made us feel welcomed to the area and the property and this will remain with us forever. We are very happy with the property, there was a little problem with the bathroom door, it was fixed within days. No other issues have been reported, but I believe they will take good care of it if any issue arises. I will strongly recommend Bridgfords and thanks to Sarah.

As a landlord, I expect a certain level of service and professionalism, none of which were demonstrated by Bridgfords Newcastle branch.
