I would recommend this management company. They answer the phone quickly and put you through the correct dept straight away. GoogleWe currently live overseas so having good property managers looking after our flat is essential to us. Sara Bonwick and Keith Shaw have been amazing in the years that we've used JW and we've never had to worry about our flat back in Bushey being looked after. Any information or requests from us, they have responded to very quickly and we've always felt that they keep us in the loop as to what is happening with our property. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

GoogleThese absolute jokers will try and charge you for an end of tenancy professional clean even though it does not ask for one in your contract. They also quoted us £50 for a new toilet roll holder even though ours was not broken. When challenged on this they hung up after stating we were “abusive” for daring to question the mighty wisdom that is John Whiteman & Co. We then contacted the Tenancy deposit scheme who confirmed that John Whiteman & Co were talking nonsense and advised us to go through to settle the outstanding balance. John Whiteman & Co then bottled it and stated we could have all of our deposit back because they were afraid of a little work but took two weeks to pay up. Long and short, they will try and squeeze every penny out of you.
We are sorry that you were unhappy with the situation at the end of the tenancy. As you know, we took over the tenancy management from Imagine and it seems they failed to have an inventory done when you moved in, this made dealing with the return of your deposit problematic and it took longer than usual to conclude. When you left the flat it needed cleaning and some items were damaged, however given that Imagine had no inventory we agreed to return your deposit in full with no deductions. We always felt we had a good relationship with you during the tenancy and wish you all the best in your new home.

GoogleJurgita in the property management team is honestly so dedicated, knowledgable and understanding of everything required for both tenants and landlords. Previous issues and needs for the property that had been lingering for a while with no resolution, have been fully explored, examined and solved by Jurgita in such a short time. The customer experience is radically better than it ever has been before and it is great to have such a reliable and professional property management team.

GoogleThe biggest bunch of cowboys ever going. They are quick enough to take your money but when it comes to refunds they take there time and say its been done when. It hasn't. Staff are rude and not helpful at all. We had issues and they were taking long to deal with it so thats why we came out of contract early. They dont care about you at all only the money coming in. Would never use them again and definitely get would not recommend them to friends or family. They are the worst estate agent going and have no people skills. They recommend you get a cleaner when you leave and then they charge you for it to be cleaned. Emails have been sent in the past with concerns and never got address. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUENegativeProfessionalism
I am sorry to hear you were not happy with the level of service, we do take this seriously and can you reach me Jamie if you wish to discuss this further. I understand from Rabia that your cleaners had not sufficiently cleaned the property. If you had contracted them for a professional end of tenancy clean and they have not delivered this level of service we recommend you take up directly with them to get compensation.
