I asked Kym Roberts from Mark Ewin estate agents to handle both the sale of my brothers & mothers property in Bury St Edmunds. I'm an estate agent myself and have been for 30 years, but my office is in south Essex and thus too far away to be affective. When someone else is selling your own families homes and affecting their lives you scrutinise everything and if I'm completely honest I expected to on their backs every other day!. I didn't even have the chance to raise an eyebrow or pick up the phone and ask 'what's going on?', from day 1 the way Kym and all the staff went about the business of selling both properties was faultless. Communication, following up, accompanying each viewing, offers, negotiating the best price, caring for the sale throughout the conveyance, everything they did was carried out with much skill, genuine care and professionalism. To say I have been impressed by Mark Ewin estate agents is a huge understatement, both sales have completed now and I have been kept 100% in the picture throughout the process, I would recommend this firm in a heartbeat. These guys are really good. A small team, but I like that.
They kept me informed the whole time and really had that personal touch that is not forced if you know what I mean.
They helped find me a plumber when my water tank broke and even came to my house when I locked myself out to let me in ! There is nothing pushy about them ,only real professionalism.
i can't say enough good things about them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Look no further than Alison Ewin if you are considering buying or selling through an agent. Even though we were buying through Mark Ewin, and therefore paying nothing for that aspect of the buy/sell chain, we were kept totally up-to-date with what was going one (something our agent neglected to do) and felt we were ahead of the curve

From start to finish Mark Ewin was exceptionally professional, helpful, considered and, unlike all the rest, honest with his opinion.
All the other agencies just saw pound notes but Mark just gave us the facts.
Our sale was not easy but he guided us through the process from start to finish. He went with us through the ups and downs and really demonstrated a empathy for us and our situation.
Would we recommend him? Without question. He might not be the cheapest but he sure is the best.

What can I say. Mark came to our house at 3pm for a valuation and by 6pm we'd had photos taken. 2 viewings and 2 offers over the asking price. House sold in 3 hours!!! It was a pleasure to deal with Mark Ewin and his faultless team, they were always on top of everything and kept all parties informed.
They also took a keen interest in the Mortgage Brokers, Mortgage Company and Solicitors and chased and followed through information, and added input/direction if required.
Excellent Service and when we come to move ( in a lot of years to come) we will have no hesitation in using Mark Ewin Estate Agents.
